I was born in Mandu in 1956, went to Bo when I was two, left in 1975. Best memories of my life was living in Sierra Leone.

I suppose the district has a promising potential for economic growth and it reveals a wll balanced mixture of fertile land, business and education. People look relaxed when walking along the mainly proper roads. 😃

Thank you for this, my mum grew up in Bo, moved to the UK, had me and 2.5 years ago moved back but to Kamabai. I have never been to Sierra Leone but am booked for my first visit in November and your videos are making me more excited to come than I already am. I can’t wait to see where my mum grew up 🥰

It's Sunday afternoon August 21st, I don't know how I ended up on your channel but man, thank you so much for the reminisce. I left Bo 37 years ago as a teenager, and I can still remember most of the places you covered. CKC was just special cause I did two years there. I must admit I felt a little teary watching this. I even saw my father’s compound at Mahei Boima road opposite Ahmadiyya mosque 🕌 adjacent to SuSu mosque 🕌. A lots have changed in BO, but there is still more to be done, especially on the roads. However I haven’t seen me other school though 😊. BO Ahmadiyya moslim secondary school

I watched this video and do recommend that the government and people of Sierra Leone invest in waste management. There is garbage everywhere. If the government of Sierra Leone would only invest in waste management, clean up the garbage and educate the people not to dispose garbage outside of garbage bins this would be a starting point for tourism. People wouldn't want to vacation in a place filled with garbage.
