Thank you, thank you and thank you. I love my country Sierra Leone more than life. This video is priceless. It makes me prouder to be a Sierra Leonean. My name is Margaret Sidique.
This is truly a very educative information showing how far we have come as a nations . Thanks for uploading and taking us down country's paths- It actually makes me very proud- listening to late the Madam Ella Koblo Gulama with her advocacy for women's participation in democratic governance as early 1961. She was indeed a very great woman and may her gentle soul RIP Amen
Thank you for posting this Bakaar King...It is good to know your history as a foundation on which to stand and grow!! I pledge my love and loyalty to my country Sierra Leone. I vow to serve her faithfully at all times...So help me God. Papa God na heaven go continue for hep we country.
I strongly agree with you Cella. I really appreciate this video, it is very informative and interesting to watch. God bless OUR country Sierra Leone. May She be favored by God Almighty, remembered and not forgotten, cherished and not mistreated. Sierra Leoneans we are all more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. We are smart, beautiful/handsome, caring, loving, wise, strong and cheerful. Let us Love ourselves first. May God lead us to great wonders and beauty. Thank you for the post Bakaar King.
So glad to say the audio on this gave no problem. I will take time to watch and digest it later. Again, my thanks to Mr Conteh for his historical deed!
The speeches by Dr. Karafa-Smart and Madam Ella Koblo and the muslim prayer in this video are very relevant today as they were in 1961.Thank you for a job well done.
Thanks very much for posting this video! I never got to meet my Great Uncle Milton because he passed 5 years before I was born in the States. I was lucky enough to meet Great Uncle Albert though and I remember how happy he was to meet all of his American great nieces and nephews.
SA Lone will rise again. I’ll do my part this I promise. God Speer my life for a reason during the war and brought me to America. I will not let my Country down I’ll do my part. You will stand tall again MAMA SA LONE.
Another outstanding performance reminding Sierra Leonian's of our short political history. Am really proud of you. Bakarr, are you contemplating a documentary in SL on these topics? Poverty, health and human services, corruption, and lastly fatherless Sierra Leonian's. And PS. May the daughter of uncle sumu from Maforah said hello.
Jah Domination - America, Europe and China happened. Everything was going well with a few exceptions . . . until after they tried to unify and form the OAU (Organization Of African Unity) in the 80’s. Then ‘magically’ every nation on the continent simultaneously went through a period of destabilization that they are still trying to recover from. And some of the leaders pocketing foreign aid didn’t help either!
Wow my country was third diamond producing country in the world Hmmmmm still our country is backward why ? during sir milton margai time was better, education was too strong what happened to our country fall from past to date ?
My distant ancestors on my father's side are from Sierra Leone. Would I want to go there and live? No, the evil and backwardness of the people that allowed the slave trade to flourish centuries ago is still there, as can be seen the ghastly civil war of the 1990s.
Nothing is wrong with it but it's behind closed doors and the research of turning on your own people is heavy and corruption increases. I pray for better
