Man the absolute dominance from Hassan. All the Americans in the field were chasing Olympic standards, Hassan was showing them what to expect when you get there 😵😂

What a fabulous runner Sifan is!! She became the 2023 London Marathon winner in her 1st marathon race!!

We are blessed to have bother Hassan and Gidey (WR in 5k, 10k, 15k and half marathon) running at the same time.

Ms Hassan just showed me what it would have looked 👀 like in the 1976 Olympic Games with “Pre” coming back to race in the 5K. Way to run 🏃‍♀️ at your determined capacity. I love 💕 it when individuals go for broke and succeed. A true racer......... great job 👏 👏👏👏 😎

Terrible announcing. Do they realize Hassan is the best female runner in the world? At least pronounce her name correctly.

Least dude can do is to announce competitors namely properly. Absolutely disrespect for the competitors. Maybe they need to drug test the announcers/commentators.

The timing at the screen start earlier than the gun

So disappointing to listen to the announcers of this race. Hassan ran a spectacular race and the announcers seemed so underwhelmed by it; yet utterly impressed by the 2nd and 3rd place finishers. That, in addition to, mispronouncing the name of a world class runner like Hassan made this race hard to listen to. Shame on you and whoever highered the both of you!!.

She just ran 70 seconds for each lap with almost no variance in the pace. No wave lights were needed by the way ... just split times every lap and maybe she checked times every 200m. It shows you that the wave lights do not give a runner any advantage when trying to run a specific pace so they aren't needed for WR attempts. Runners will know every 30-40 seconds if they have fallen a bit behind the pace just from split times or checking their own watch from time to time during their run. I don't think any of these Americans will have much of a chance against her or her other top competitors. What was the point of having someone "pace" them if the "pace" runners weren't going to even go out at her pace for 1 lap?!!

I will start watching women's distance when one breaks the 4 minute mile! I ran a 4:00.25 when I was in the Army, never broke 4 but came very close. I am not, however, a world class runner by any means. Top women in the world should be able to beat me.
