@@Law10205 Tldr: I've played and beaten the game many times with different self imposed challenges, but other than those challenges there isn't a whole lot to do. Yes, I even beat the game deathless and going on constant hitless runs. Doesn't change the fact that there is nothing to really do. I probably got too good or something, but the challenges they give you are incredibly easy and can be knocked out in a day. The modifiers, while not bad, are the only way of changing anything about the game and even they get old after a while. I say there isn't much to do because all Sifu really has is a good and rich combat system, and that's it. You won't see me complaining about good combat in any game, which is why i said the combat in sifu was fine (as in I have no problem with it), but other than fighting there isn't much else to do. Absolver had the same exact problem where the game had a rich combat system, but basically nothing else because the devs just didn't add in enough PVE content into the game, and the PVP that was there was easily exploitable as well. I think it's fair to say that Sloclap are good at making excellent combat systems and mechanics, but the stuff surrounding those systems aren't given enough time imo, and that extra stuff is what brings people back more and more. Ik Sloclap is a small team, so I'm not holding it against them, jus pointing out what my statement meant. Edit: Yes I'm aware that they're adding un the arenas mode, so for now there isn't much to do lol
@@AloyDesigns I see. I wish they made it better because I’ve seen a Sarah Bryant mod that has the right face. It is from DOA though. Maybe it’s harder to Mod straight from the new Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown.
Fuk if only the devs would officially let us choose enemy move sets it would bring a whole knew dynamic to the game you modders be crackin the codes no cap 🔥
It’s kinda weird cuz the people that made this game also made absolver, and that game was completely about making your own combos from moves other dudes used on you. Not sure why they didn’t translate more stuff from absolver into this game
@@Escapism-for-everybody it would be a pain but doing something like that by the dev's would literally envigorate the game an breath life into it. It would also show the fans how much they care an pave the way to a sifu 2.

bro it be hella tight if in a future update or sequel it brings back absolvers different fighting styles but one based on the 5 kung fu schools in universe. Though if im being honest I'd much prefer a customizable movepool like the one in Capcom's Godhand
Muay Thai is already in the game. There's even a mvoeset for it on Nexus, same as what roughly looks like Tae Kwon Do. Karate and Judo won't be possible.

sifu game concept is really cool and fun , i wish more developer make fighting game like this and with better graphic ,tbh i dont understand why not many devs make game like this ??? i have so many idea can borrow from many action movies ,heres badass fight scene fit for games typical like sifu Mission Impossible Fallout - Bathroom Fight john wick fight scene punisher fight scene nobody fight scene the raid fight scene the witcher fight scene kingsman fight scene its too many and once again i cant believe nobody really make game like sifu before! mostly always focus make shooting games like resident evil,dead space,evil west, but third person fighting game is very rare ! i mean yes sleeping dogs is also cool fighting game but its more look like gta open world , but the camera angle view in sifu is different level its third person fighting this should be new standard !
Till this day, modder still trying to figure out how to import Absolver's animation into Sifu. So far no luck yet. But interesting thing is, Sifu animation are successfully imported to Absolver
@@AloyDesigns backward compatible? Weird guess the frameworks for Sifu was made in Absolver's but the code or assets for Absilver's might be outdated or lacking something for it to work in Sifu.
So the Sifu community is basiclly puting time and effort turning Sifu into Absolver instead of playing/promoting Absolver ?Those 2 games are made by the same team ! I understand someone would love Sifu more on many aspects but damn . The team needs to re-release a trailer for Absolver just to remind people it exist . Of course a sequel to Sifu would be great but if you're this hungry , you should just go for Absolver instead of waiting for Sifu's mods
If you like game that similar with Sekiro, Dark Soul or Elden Ring you might like this one as well. It have similar mechanic but instead of with weapon, you fight barehands. There's also a Master (Hard) difficulty with stronger enemies modifier. Basically almost all enemy have twice hp and twice damage dealt
