Got the new one, been shooting Bullseye, got over 1,000 rounds, never had any trouble, but it doesn’t make you a champion. I’ve even shot steel cases in this pistol. Never had a problem. Even used steel cases, to break it in. Just my favorite competition pistol, because it’s so beautiful & dependable.

Why beat on a great pistol, when you have an opportunity to own both! I’ve gone with the the new one, because of the magazine release, and the sights. I will keep my eye open for a 30 caliber, like my Swiss Luger. The sights suck on the Luger, & it’s a bitch to load the magazine! It helped me decide on the new technology, no regrets! It took me quite a bit, to get either one, because I already own a CZ 75B. Never needed another 9mm, after owning the CZ. No matter which one you can afford, they will be fun, at the range, if you can find ammunition for them.

My heart goes for my old P210-2 in 30 luger. Its machining + hand finishing makes me think a bit about the SW performance center product. But its fixed aim, its old school grip, and its caliber of the beginning of the century ranks it just behind my P210 super target. The handle, the 6 inch barrel and the 9mm caliber are perfect. His balance does not feel his weight. The decline is more than well compensated, it does not feel like shooting 9mm. The trigger is light, very good for shooting speed. But in hand I prefer the military type of my old p210 with a dick well marked mid runs. Thank you for watching.

Ok, sounds legit. Over here supertarget models run at $3000-3500, while regular old P210 run at ~$1200. Would you say the new ones are worth that much more? (There are also old p210 in 9mm)

Personally if you can find an old P210-5 or -6 with adjustable target at under $ 2000 go for it. Put him an ergonomic handle and turn is play.And from an economic point of view the old no longer being manufactured they become coveted objects ...

The former to this little something extra for me. He saw the hand of a human and that makes him an object of art. Like a 100% handmade Bugatti compare to a Ford coming out of the assembly line. But it remains very pleasant and precise. And it is beautiful. This is only my personal opinion.

In europa P210 legend = reborn P210 by SIG Sauer Germany cost 2000-2500€ aprox 2500$ US. But in Switzerland u can find old P210 made in Switzerland for less.

The SIG P210 is indeed a masterpiece of Swiss design and precision craftsmanship.

Actually, the same goes for SIG and SIG Sauer USA. SIG was a Swiss company dedicated to high standards of quality in all of it products (of which guns were only a part of), whereas SIG Sauer USA is a US company feeding and feeding off the USAnian gun craze and madness.

Fun fact I: No gun produced by SIG ever went off "just like that". The same cannot quite be said of SIG Sauer USA.

Fun fact II (A tip, acutally, to all of you out there complaining about hammer bite of the real P210): Try holding the gun correctly. If that does not solve the problem, try losing a few dozens of pounds. Hammer bite is God's way of telling you that you shouldn't eat two or more burgers in on session. Or maybe it's God's way of telling you that, given that you cannot even reasonably control your eating, maybe you had better not handle a gun.

The recent model is very precise and pleasant in hand. It's been a year since I use it frequently. But we always come back to the quality of the previous Swiss machining, finishing by hand .... I live in Switzerland where P210's are way more "Present" than "History". In the Pistol club where I practice, there are often more P210's on the range than all the other 9mm handguns together. If You see a gun that is not a .22 l.r. match pistol, it's a P210. At least on the 50m stand where I mostly practice - on the 25m stands you see a few more Glocks or CZ's or even P220's (which is the actual service pistol of the swiss army), but also there are many, many P210s. Some collectors (I'm none of those) have several (or even ALL) models, including the extreme precious and beautiful 1291-1991 (700 Years Confederatio Helvetica, that explains .CH) Jubilé Model. Good shot shooter friends. (Nice salutation, Respect!)

Guess I would do so too - and that's why I'd never own one. This is too much money for an Item I will not use. I'd rather have my -6 and tonns of fun on the Range than a Jubilee I can't use in the safe. (Btw: My -6 is almost as precious as a Jubile. Why? Because I've got adjustable Sports Sights and an alternative barrel (7,65mm Para, also with softer recoil-spring) in matching serial number - so I can choose beteween 9mm or 7,65 Para. And I also got a complete replacement slide with barrel and magazine to use usual .22lr Ammo in my P210 - for training or just for fun. Everything original SIG Switzerland. I would NOT give this P210 - Not for a Super Target, not for a "Legend" and not even for a seldom and swiss made "Jubile".)

I agree. Every Sig USA out of Exerter that I have purchased has been sent back for warranty repair. Sig USA sad to say I can't trust their products.
