I feel like I'm following you in this process! I just stopped by the SIG Academy Pro Shop this afternoon and picked up the X Series carry grip for my RXP Compact 😂
@@TheCreedyouknow it doesn't stick out at all, the carry is the same slide length as the pistol we have, it just lengthens the grip and fits the 17 round mags flush.
You sure you didn't get the sub compact frame look ant the gap at the front. It looks like you got the 3.9 slide not the 3.6 it should be flush up front
- The X-Series Grip Modules will not work with magazines that have "SIG SAUER" on the baseplate. They are compatible with the baseplates that have the SIG Mark on it.
This is my exact problem! I want the compact barrel/slide length but I want the x series trigger and grip module. I know the Apex trigger is nice and a grip module is only 50 bucks but I already own the xcompact and want consistency in flat trigger feel with the added barrel length of the original compact non x series. The full at 4.7" is just to big for my needs. Great video though I love the real world experience.
Do your original 320 compact mags (15rd) fit the x carry subcompact grip? I've heard the ears on the baseplate of the compact mags have to be trimmed down to fit the the x series grips.
You don’t need another plate on this model because the rear sight is mounted with the optic when you get a 320 without the optic one plate is for the optic and the other has your rear sight
Hey I just talked to Apex today and they told me that the forward set trigger kit would not work in the X compact series Sig 320. Have you had any problem with function with your trigger after installing?
@@davidgoeden9211 what kind of mag issues are you having? I made the switch today. And at first the mag would not go in. But then a pressed the release button and no problem.
No that’s not 2020 model . I just paid $950 for mine came with that module not the old one and it came with the romeo1 pro and the X-ray 3 night sights suppressor sights with a flat trigger u have the sig rx compact . I have that one in my night stand
Dark Man This is the 2020 model for the P320 RXP Compact. 2020 models come with the Romeo1 Pro vs the 2019 model that had the standard Romeo1. Now the model that you are talking about with the X-Ray 3 suppressor height sights and flat is the P320 RXP XCompact. www.sigsauer.com/store/p320-xcompact-rxp.html www.sigsauer.com/store/p320-rxp-compact.html
@@reachblowsdick7222 There’s not. Even before that (2016-2020) there were only 40 documented and investigated cases of a drop fire. Besides, if you are so clumsy as to be dropping your firearm, you shouldn’t be allowed near one in the first place.
@@ronjoseph7973 - I've never dropped my firearms, but these P320 are going off in people's good quality holsters, how's that their fault? One even went off in a guy's Safariland holster, if that's not good quality.... Also no one is perfect, not even you. That's why cars have seat belts and airbags, nobody really plans on having a car crash but shit happens in the real world beyond anyone's control, even yours. That's why it's mandatory for companies to make their firearms drop/carry safe. Sig didn't get that memo, or Sig didn't give a damn to save money and get that Army contract which is far more important than public safety obviously.
@@ronjoseph7973 - By the way, the link I posted says the news reported that the P320 incident was caught on video. So it seems like it's another "here's your money, now shut up" pay off from Sig. Meanwhile many idiots will still carry the dangerous ticking time bomb P320 🤨
