Today I went out and put a few more magazines through the Sig P365 Fuse to test its reliability after it was worked on by Sig.

I agree we need to get out and get the training with our EDC. You build so much muscle memory that way.

Muscle memory is the key. Dry firing helps but it’s nothing like firing the round.

I’m a big M&P 2.0 fan. The 3.6 compact is awesome. Thanks for watching.

I have the Fuse and got mine back from Sig for same issues yours had and it has ran fine so far with changing the Guide Rod Assembly and detailing the feedway as per Sig. I have since added FDEZ WERX SS Guide Rod and Spring. I have not carried it yet but have it as a bed side firearm. I carry my P365 AXG Legion for EDC.

Did the upgraded guide rod make a large difference?

@@averagemarksman the Fdez 12lbs spring 100% works. Fuse is over sprung. Shoots as soft as my p320 compact and g19 now.

@@BoDiesel20 I might have to look into it. I do like keeping edc as stock as possible though.

Fuse slide on Legion frame?

For me weight is a non issue on my EDC. I carried a 4.25” prodigy with an x300 turbo and a red dot for a little while and I had a unicorn gun that never had an issue. But I traded it in because the grip was a bit longer and the gun was a bit wider than I would like and I just couldn’t conceal it quite as well as I would have liked. I currently carry a metal carry comp and I don’t even notice it, it’s probably right around 30ish oz with a dot and light. I’ve considered even getting a pdp compact steel frame which is 40oz. I really want to get into IDPA and I want to use that as a form of practice, and using that to help me train. So I really want a gun that falls into both edc and competition because I want to use what I carry. So I haven’t decided if I want to hold on to the carry comp which I love or snag a pdp compact sf. But yea, grip length determines what I carry more than weight does.

More weight equals larger pistol. Most guns over 30 ounces have a larger grip - I should have mentioned that as being one of the issues I couldn’t carry something that large. I touched on it a bit with the 21 round magazines - they make the grip way too long.
@WTGBalla
@WTGBalla 26 дней назад
True, except for the case of the pdp compact sf which is the same size as the regular pdp compact it just weighs a ton since it’s a steel frame. But that’s probably the only gun of its type that I know of. But yea, typically I can carry up to a smaller fulls size gun ie. a carry comp metal or other guns about that size
@averagemarksman
@averagemarksman 26 дней назад
@@WTGBalla I believe the steel frame version is geared towards competitions?
@WTGBalla
@WTGBalla 26 дней назад
Their saying for it is “merge duty and race”. I think it’s kind of like the TTi combat or even the carry comp metal. At least the compact version is. It’s kind of that duty/edc use gun with race features. The full size or the full size match I think is much more geared towards competition use. But I think the compact model could fill that edc role, as long as you can deal with the 40oz weight. But it’s still only a 15 round size grip and I think it’s a 4 or 4.5” barrel. So size wise it’s certainly the size of an edc gun. It’s just that weight that starts to separate it from other edc guns.

WMLs aren’t needed on everyday carries in the same way headlights aren’t needed on vehicles. Vehicle will run fine without em, but it makes it significantly more difficult to operate in the dark. Criminals love to use the cover of night to commit crime. I’d rather be able to see and positively ID what I’m shooting. WMLs are a no brainier for me

I think it’s extremely subjective to where you live and how you spend your life. Lots of pros and cons to each argument.

I'm on the smaller side and like the Bodyguard 2.0 for better concealment. I like small and light. The Fuse is way too large for me.
@averagemarksman
@averagemarksman 26 дней назад
I’ve been carrying the Bodyguard 2.0 a ton. It conceals great and completely disappears. As far as concealed carry goes the Shield Plus is as big as I normally go.
