I picked a new one on Monday and I definitely feel it's with the price. On my first range trip with her yesterday I shot the best group I've ever shot with any handgun, and I've owned some of the so called "top dogs" The bullseye on my target is 2"x 2" square and I put 49 out of 50 shots in the bull and the miss was only .75" away. This is with nearly 63 year old eyes and the iron sights. I tweak the trigger a little to get it where I like it and I can honestly say it's the best trigger I've ever experienced. It even beats the CZ TSO I had. Stay safe and keep the videos coming! (I gave you a Like and a Sub)
I have the P229 Legion, a great gun. I bought the 226 X5 Legion and man, I was shocked. The trigger is great, beveled, FAST, and accurate, that's it accurate. You would swear Sig didn't do this. Did they?
It's not that they couldn't figure out a way to keep a rear sight, they did, they just wanted to be able to charge you for one to the tune of $130 for a new front and rear set of suppressor height sights.
@MrDucatiV4 it's 80 for the rear sight But if you get the 226 with romeo x pro from the factory it comes with the red dot and rear sight for about 280$ less than buying separately
SIG Legion series always seem to knock it out of the ball park. Why don't they upgrade the triggers with Gray Guns? I lov my P229 DA/SA Also about enjoying what you do. Clearly you enjoy shooting and are a gun enthusiast. Thanks for sharing.
I have owned a P226 Legion DA/SA for 7 years now, love that gun as well....... compared to the Legion X5, the P226 is not even close to the performance of the X5 - you will think your trigger on your P229 is garbage once you shoot the Legion X5 - trust me!!!!!
its based on a competition gun. Most of us in the competition space dont use the slide lock when shooting. Reload before the mags are empty while moving. Mags without slide locks also tend to hold an extra round or two.
Sounds like a good idea i but can we really justifuy buying one? Or even the "Non-Legion" P226 XFIVE" ($3300 CAD)?? We're paying for the TXG weighted grip and in the case of this gun the COMP as well...is it worth an extra $1500 (CAD) plus to get a 45 oz polymer gun that has less muzzle rise?? :) Over a "STD P226 Legion"?? I can't. If you want a heavier gun weighing in at over 40oz why not just guy a steel frame 1911?? Best stock trigges over any other jgun platforms e.g. striker fire, Alu frame guns.....everyone is trying to come colose to duplicating the shoottablity of a 1911...no one's come close... Want a "race gu"...buy a RACE GUN e.g. Infinity... "buy the gun for the intended use"!1 too many guys don't seem too sure....end up with race guns for "home defense"..."gee it has a light 2.5 pound trigger...i can get faster follow up shots..YEAH!!" :) Don't want that in tha defensive situation....a "hair trigger"... Odd....in Canada they can only get select guns I'm told...this gun is impossible to 'Find"....can't get the Glock 45....they also get guns htat are "marked up" the XFIVE p226 sells for $3300 CAD :))
Yikes $3300 is a lot. I could get an atlas for $6500 but the problem with 2011 pistol if you accidentally allow the slide to fall without a cartridge to cushion it, can damage the aear
