P365 Long slide, I have a Glock 27 Long slide,

I all ready have the xl but i just wanted to know if my flat trigger assembly will fit in to a custom p365 grip module i really like the long slide and the flat trigger but with the short grip

They sell the current grips all over the place. Buy the XL. The existing grip and some 10 round magazines and you’ve got what you want.

320 X-Compact is a larger weapon. Yes you’re getting into the fine line of, we’ll it’s close enough to this size so why not just carry the bigger one... I think it was a smart move by Sig. I’ll prob grab one and keep my original P365.

Really really good question I haven't taken them apart and compare them in that detail but I did notice that the striker on the XL is very chisel shaped... from peering through the striker hole but I could be very wrong. But it does look somewhat different. But thank you for this question it reminded me to do so

And the g48 is much bigger, too, but with two less rounds. (g48: 0.68 in Longer, .24 in Taller, and same 1.1 in Width)

The G48 is .58 longer, .24 taller, .03 narrower at the slide all according to factory listed specs. Guess that's much bigger in your book??

I do find it funny on this post many are wanting the extended grip frame from the XL and the short slide from the original 365. The same thing many have blasted Glock for doing with the 43x..Lol

That's what I carry. Nobody uses the flush fit mag. Gotta have the 10rd with pinky extension at least. 12 round mag give you full size grip imo.

Yeah man look for the tac pac it comes with 3 - 12 round mags and fits the hand better with the extension

Celia Shadden You can already get the trigger for your 365. Just need the grip module and the mags if you decide to convert those

All you need is the 12 round mags for the regular P365. Gives you the exact grip size. And youcan use the 10 round if you need smaller size to conceal or travel to a restricted state.

Have the issues been fixed with them yet? Want one but not if they are still having the striker and trigger problems.

@@biggboysouth As a point of fact, both of those issues- broken striker tips and dead triggers- were fixed in June 2018 when Sig identified the causes and implemented proven solutions.

Does the XL eliminate the primer drag issue of the original P-365?

Because we had one of the first p365 and the country and then we had one of the first p365XL.... and we were the first holster manufacturer in the country to produce a CNC cut vacuum formed holster for it as well. We are very well-versed in 365

@@jrowinski82 I'm not so sure they will do that. After all the X-series has been out for a couple years now and there is no X-series slide/frame/mag x-change kit. There are grip modules of course, but thats it. I can't see them offering the slide or a kit for a long time, as it would heavily eat into the sales of the new model.

@@bicimn Sig just released a new series of custom slides for the P320 a couple days ago. Pretty sure they will fit any p320 and has most of the same features as the X5 slide. Sig will need time to catch up but since the slides and frames for the P365 and P365 XL are interchangeable they will be able to make more money not less. People can buy the gun they want and then customize it with different grips or slides. They make money both ways. They just started coming out with X-change kits for the MPX/MCX earlier this year. That hasn't affected their sales on those guns. Sig is taking over and they will do it by offering a dizzying amount of options for all the Sig fans out there, and there are plenty.

@@ANRDesignLLC wtf does that have to do with anything? i gave examples of guns where slide length doesnt affect recoil spring length. XDM long slides use the recoil assembly of the fullsize as another example off the top of my head. and id be willing to bet there are plenty of others.

The original p365 had issues with extraction and cyclic rate. It's kind of a joke because they had issues with it so obviously if they made pretty significant changes to the platform. They would probably be changing the recoil spring assembly significantly. This is why this is a much more polished gun than the p365. I'm glad they're not cutting Corners trying to make things work

The size to capacity ratio, amazing trigger, and ready to go fibre optic sight is where the innovation comes in. I dont know why one would choose the glock instead of sig at this size.

I like 48 over 43x

The p365xl is much closer in size to the g43x than the g48.

Do yourself a favor and wait two years and see if they get this one right! Oh and yes I speak from experience. Two trips back to the factory for repair. After it came back the second time I sold it to many other good choices.

We have 350 rounds through the gun during our original video. We had no malfunctions and very consistent brass ejection. We got the gun too hot to touch and it continued to function as normal

Yeah it's the exact same length frame has a p365. They are interchangeable so you could run the 10 round frame on the long side

@@palmtack2164 Or, since you're so convinced this is what they will do, why not wait until they provide this option. If you already spent money on the first one, which it sounds like you did, maybe just run it with the extended mag until they release it. That way you got in early on their first model as a test pilot and you eventually get your desired product after they work the bugs out and you get to skip over the 2nd one that you never really wanted. When you finally get there you can tell yourself that the first one had a good run, sell it off to a guy that just needs a dependable firearm on the cheap and use the money to buy the one you really wanted that finally came out. Personally, I just think Sig went with what the market is asking for right now. Items like the 4 in shield or the Glock 48. These weren't products meant to trick you into buying things, but were rather products built out of the desire of the customer and product feedback. Added sales are just the benefit for the manufacturer. If no one was asking for it, they wouldn't make it, that's a loss for them. If you have too much money to burn and frivolously spend it on firearms that the industry coaxes you into needing because you have no self control, maybe you should send a bit my way.
