Lucky you on the first one. I pulled a hook recently on one and it didn't go back to the structure. Also I will not put a video catching tripletail. There would be so many boats trying to fish them. I have a Ranger Cayman 19'

Thats crazy as I caught my PB Tripletail in 2018 in Apalachicola and it was 27.5 “s. They are such a good fighting fish and especially the big ones! My fish took 20 mins to land as I was only using 20 lb braid and 30lb leader. But let me tell ya they are one of the best eating inshore fish there is!😎👍👍

Me and my son landed a 26.5, 27, and a 30 inch this year had a few break us off. The 26.5 and 27 was on the same day. I am addicted to triple tail fishing.

Do you have any spinning rod and reel recomendations for snook,reds,tarpon,snapper,sheepshead,etc.besides your special edition rods since they are out of stock

I don’t use those rods anymore. I use Fenwick rods and Penn Reels now. You won’t go wrong with any of the Penn reels. My favorite is the Spinfisher or Clash.
