Cool - I run my Sig Max basically stock for IPSC PO . I use Talon Granulate and a Springer Precision paddle mag release. I’ve run the mag release in L3’s without a challenge . They sell them on Sig’s website .But , I always have an extra TXG module with a OEM mag release with me in case they protest . Aftermarket triggers are allowed , so you can run a Graygun’s if desired. Of course the Align Tac gas pedal isn’t legal - I tried to run an AC Extended takedown once. but had to swap back to OEM or get bumped to Open. I suggested to Sig that they issue the Max with an OEM extended mag release - I really don’t like the standard ones .
I did try the green, but I'm more comfortable with red as I have used it for so long. The green seem to be slightly harder to pick up for me. However, other people have switched to green as they say they can pick it up easier.
The thumb rest is a part of the takedown lever, so it's legal. Only limited by the maximum allowed width of the pistol. This one is made by Align Tactical, I believe.
@@OtiumBorealis You might want to double check the rules, no aftermarket slide stops are allowed in production (or PO). Width actually is not limited as there's no box rule in the prod.
