Sights of the Continent: Upper Mill I Relax, study, meditate [The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next-Gen] 

Long time ago, a man called Eadberht lived in that building to the left. He had a beautiful wife called Ornesta, the two had a happy and good life. That is until their first daughter was born. She was a spitting image of her mother, but something about the child’s beauty didn’t sit right with Ornesta. Eadberht didn’t pay any heed to it at first, but soon enough the family grew further. Another two daughters were born, each more beautiful than the last. Meanwhile the wife’s mood grew darker by the day. One night Eadberht came home to find his children hungry and his wife ignoring them. When he asked her what the matter was, she said that the children have stolen her beauty and her youth, and that should be enough for them to feed on. Not too long afterwards, on a moonlit night, Eadberht woke up to the sound of screams only to see his family missing. He ran outside and witnessed something horrific. His daughters, or what remained of them, were strewn around the fountain. And in the distance, covered in blood, standing on a stool by the lone tree he saw his wife, with a rope draped around her neck. She cried out, cursing her children and accusing them of stealing that which was most precious to her… and then she jumped. Soon afterwards the poor man killed himself… To this day the cursed spectres of the 3 daughters haunt the fountain behind the house, and something even darker roams deep inside the crypt.

I’ve seen many compilations on youtube with the Witcher music form other people, but it’s infinite better when it comes from the original creators, It’s feels more authentic.

The ambience in this game is on another level truly. Especially the blood and wine expansion. Haven't enjoyed getting lost in a world like that since Morrowind

I've never noticed before that in-game days are that long. It's very satisfying to just stop and see all the changes that happens during that time. Best game of all time.

I love this background music in this game this is why I always cross the bridge in pontar going to novigrad just to listen to this.

I've spent 900+h in The Witcher 3 and countless more hours just listening to the OST. Masterpiece!

The conversation you have with the Ofieri merchant at this mill is one of my favourite conversations in the whole game, just feels so fascinating to be in Geralts shoes having seen so much of the world, but hearing of this far off mysterious land

This game has captured my soul. I no longer have time to play it so I listen to walkthroughs on RU-vid while I work. I get a tiny hint of what it was like to play the game for the first time again. I’ve played Dark Souls 3 since playing tw3 and it’s a great game for very different reasons but I’m obsessed with The Witcher!

Idk how did you create such masterpiece i don't know if any game soundtrack made me so emotional... I remember like yesterday it was summer 2019 when one of my Polish steam friends recommended to me witcher trilogy, i remember getting into tw1 and main menu theme hit i just knew i stumbled across something that will stick with me forever, i took days off from work and i played nonstop for 2 months, witcher 1-3, and God, was it good... Greatest gaming experience ever! Thank You CDPR for this!

Something I’ve never taken much notice of before and that’s the water flowing. You hardly notice it unless you speed up the video. There’s few games where when it’s ended you genuinely feel a little lost! This is one of the few. Astonishing game and can’t wait to get back into it again.
