In low light this lens has this very nice sorta glow around bright light sources that I like

Thanks! But the glow made by the dehancer plugin, otherwise you have to use a mist filter to achieve that look. Or if there are some fog in the location it can give the same effect.

Do you think Cine 4 is better than HLG 2 in lowlight? If not what picture profile do you think is best for shooting lowlight?

Hi! I use Cine4 in every situation. But i think there are no significant differences between the HLG and Cine4. I see bigger differences between S-log3 and Cine4. But i dont use slog with a6400 because it loses some AF precission and 8bit is not the best with slog. So i recommend to use Cine4. But if the image is not too contrasty you can turn the pp off and give it a try.

How and where can I learn all these camera basics... I'm about to buy just one camera and one lens m.. As I'm a total beginner. I think a6400 and 18-105 lens will do the job for shooting travelling videos now? What do you think?

Thank you for asking. I learned from other youtubers about the camera basics, there are a lot of great videos. But in this channel i'll make guides too about camera settings, techniques, editing and gear tests. So you'll find the camera basics in time. I think for video, the a6400 is still a great beginner camera. You'll can slow down your footage in fullHD and 4k resolution without slowdown. There are some other sony apsc cameras like the zv-e10 or from the a6xxx line, but for it's price you get the most with the a6400. The 18-105 lens is great for travel filmmaking. If I had to choose only one lens for my a6400, I would choose this one. What are the Iso's used?

Iso means the sensitivity of the sensor. If it's high like 3200 ISO it means that it more sensible for the light, so the image will be brighter. But if you push it high, the image will be very noisy, so you have to find the balance. I was under 3200 ISO in this test, because my lens can let in a lot of light so i didn't have to push too much. 😎
