Suggestion: Any time there is no lens on a camera either immediately put a body cap on it or at least lay it face down on the table so dust won't get inside. There is ALWAYS dust in the air. Most photographers go as far as always swapping lenses with the open mount hole facing down during the lens swapping process to make sure dust does not get in there. And the same goes for the lens. If there's no cap on the lens - put it on a dust free surface with the "camera mount" end facing down.

I have been looking for ladies using this and am glad I found you😊 I just don’t like noise it’s making and hope it can be fixed because I want this camera

If you’re looking to shoot video content with this lens, then I would not recommend it because it will make that noise you hear. However, if you looking to take photos, then I highly recommend this lens. Or you can just buy the canon RF 15 - 35 mm lens that actually goes with the camera body. You will get even better results with that lens, but it is on the pricier side

@@lifewithnathalie Thanks. It’s the price that’s holding me back and pushing me towards Sony. But i really like the colours straight from camera from canon

@Milly_in_denmark I’m a canon girl I love canon lol however I do have a sony camera and owned other Sony cameras but I’ve gotten the best results from canon for what I want to do in the photography world. So it depends on what your niche is and then compare the two.

wrong lens for the camera. the r6 is a full frame camera and youre using a crop lens on it so youre getting a cropped image with more noise and less capability of the full frame. rather get the canon EF 24 to 70 f2.8 lens and return this sigma or sell it. you can still use the adapter with the canon.

I actually like how some of my images look with the sigma lens and I use that lens on my canon M50 for high-quality Instagram photos. So I have already had this lens for over a year now so I can’t return it and I don’t plan to sell it but eventually when I can I’ll invest in the 24 to 70 mm lens. It’s already in my cart to purchase.

Not necessarily the wrong lens at all, a lot of people use this lens on the R6, you know its limitations however you can get amazing results with this lens

It’s a work horse of a lens, there’s a reason why to this day a lot of people still purchase it, amazing footage for video, Sigma lens are great, had Sigma lens on my M50 and now for my R6, love them.

Me too! Sigma lens are becoming my new favorite. I used the sigma lens on my M50 too! Which is why I switched it to the R6 to see how it’ll look on this camera body. And it didn’t disappoint.
