I've loved him since I first heard him in '87!! What a beautiful and talented man and singer.... grossly under-rated in my opinion!! He's just one from a handful of truly awesome, talented artists/singers that put today's performers to shame!! He's an "artist" with "abilities"....the rest are mere, mediocre "performers."
When I first heard this on the radio I thought he was singing "Syon Lane across my heart." For those that don't know Syon Lane is a road and railway station in SW London.
his dancing is not that bad and you got to remember that this is from the 80's. men in those day's did not twist there hips like they do in today's. he is fine as hell and his dancing is highly cute to me especially with his light brown eye's and his hair. But this is one of the best the single he has ever came out with, i wished it was more recognized because this is as real as it gets
The message is very REAl and intense: love in love out...sign of the times...ok, but comes that day ,comes the question: SIGN YOUR NAME ACROSS MY HEART, I want tyo ut obe my baby. Not the usual shit for cops and easy lovers/haters! THE REALTHING.No matter what you do in the mean time ...just to keep you going!!!
@MrDACooling - Grunge, Gansta Rap and an overall crappy music scene happened.... sad that artists such as D'arby, Plunky, Mother's Finest etc. had to emigrate to Europe to get an audience because the were multi-genre.
