I knew this coming as well as the DMU Tracks DVD and for I while I have been wondering what was going on with production, but looking at this it not only a great and awe inspiring film for train lovers everywhere but also for people trying to get a career into signalling as well. Great Job Video 125.👍🚂
For those interested, the music is "Newsweek", and is associated with "Whickers World", where Alan Whicker went globetrotting. But, it was also used by the now defunct Swindon Cable channel, for their regular news programme "Scene around Swindon"! And Video125, you've maybe gave me an idea on music I can use for a future video from my layout!
VSC Clapham junction was a Disaster! Failures all the time. ASE was 'Wrong man for the job'had to be paid off, replacement narcissistic told by Chairman BR Board that he was to be sacked in 6 months time unless failure rate dropped, bought in man from Swanley led a task force team, found lots of equipment faults reduced failure rate. When ASE sent questionnaire I made lots of recommendations, 2 was carried out, had to have 4 men out on track, top grade only did inside work, 2nd can't say but improved railway operations considerably.
