Okay, a tip from an old seamstress. When you want to make a turn stop with your needle down (still in the paper) then lift the presser foot turn your paper, put your presser foot down and continue sewing. When doing a zigzag stitch watch where the needle is-you want the outside "point" to be where you make your turn. You can use the handwheel to fudge those last stitches. Sorry if this is more than you wanted to know. I love your digitals! Been buying them for years!

You are absolutely amazing, Kyra! I love every idea you have with these pages; most of which I've never seen before! Thank you for being such a good teacher and showing us the comparisons with some of the lace edges of the pages. It helps alot. I absolutely LOVE the different laces you used throughout the signatures. So delicate, feminine and gives an old fashion/antique feeling to the journal. I could listen to you explain the tutorials all day with a voice as soothing as yours! Brava!!! 👏👏👏💗😊

Love this kit! It's beautiful! You did a great job decorating it! I have a suggestion: another kit like this in pink and ivory, but then if you would make add-on kits for baby boy and baby girl! Would love a grown up kit to make for friends for baby showers without all the stuffed animals and those type kits! 🥰 Also, maybe an "All about Me" kit to give to our parents or grandparents to know more about them. Years ago Creating Keepsakes had a kit to do about yourself and I realized it was the first time I had ever scrapped/journaled about myself, something to be shared with loved ones. This could help encourage others to write about themselves with prompts and questions instead of trying to write all that stuff down in a blank journal! Just suggestions! Love your channel!❤

I love your kits and have many! Blue is my favorite color and this one is beautiful 💙 My second favorite is coral. Could you combine those two colors? My second request is to include a background paper in the kits so I don’t have to go searching for one to use. Even a coffee dyed paper would be great!! Thank you ❤

Thank you! I learned so much about creating an evenly distributive journal! Love the lace throughout the journal pages. Personally, I might stop right here for some journals so that it can be used mostly for a writing journal. But excited to see how else you will add the extras!

Oooh these colours are absolutely beautiful! Stunning looking journal. You just gave me an excellent idea! There's no mistakes in crafting right? Just happy little accidents....? Double printing! What a fabulous way to use softer backgrounds but add layers of script or flowers etc to create a brand new design! Yours look lovely and I'd never have guessed until you pointed it out! Also I've got a stack of papers that didn't print properly...we all have those right? Where one colour ink is lower than the others and a blue page comes out more pink. Time to change the cartridge! 😂 I use them to tear up for backgrounds. Or stamp small words or images to cut out. I also spritz them with water (my printer is inkjet) and lightly sponge to blur the image and create a more watercolour looking background. And if it's on thicker paper then I just print fussy cuts on the other side so it's not wasted. I think of ways to make them usable...☺️ And now you've added another way they can be rescued! This wasn't an accident at ALL!!! This was a top tip just waiting to be discovered! I love it! And it looks lovely on your papers, all of them are stunning. I'm thinking this is a kit I may need to add to my Etsy basket! 😁

Always love watching your videos to see what tip and tricks I can pick up..... because there is always something!!! Now onto the reason for my comment..... it is to give a suggestion for the end of month freebie. How about dragonflies!! Loads of my fellow creators use dragonflies as their main embelishment for especially journals like fairies, gardens and mushrooms!!!

It's really sad that the colors on your video are so different than what they are on Etsy.. beautiful in the video, but would not buy if the color is correct on Etsy 😥.. I wouldn't call them blue at all at all..

The kit has shades of blue in it, varied from light baby blue to a more vivid aqua. But "Shades of Blue-ish Tones and Ivory" just didn't have the same ring to it haha. Our Etsy listing photos are usually the best representation of a kit's true colors, but again, color can vary based on the quality of the monitor you are viewing the listing on, printer type, ink levels, time of day, the auto white balance of the camera, etc. We try our best to represent a kit accurately across our platforms; but yes, if you don't like the color on the Etsy photos you might want to consider a different kit that is more to your personal tastes.
