@@dariosimone2383 The Bible wasn't wrapped in pretty paper, topped with a bow, and handed down from Heaven. It's been added to, deleted from and mistranslated throughout the ages. It contains allegories, metaphors, history and some spiritual insights to glean. Those that are ineffable are due to language.

Actually I had the very same thing happen to my from my father 6 years ago. He had been gone 17 years. It matters not to me whether you believe or not but I know with all my heart & soul we continue on.

Absolutely. It's no miracle just somebody trying to do something like that. In fact, as far as I am concerned it is cruel whoever did that. I am editing this about a month later. I stand by what I said, I haven't changed the paragraph above. Maybe it's not exactly cruel, maybe someone's heart was in the right place but it could have caused a lot of anguish for the people. I mean, if something like this helped them in their grieving process that's fine. But, if they actually believe he had signed the guestbook after he died I'm sorry but they definitely have issues.

@@terrynaude284 First and as said, each and every verse must be put together, from Genesis to Revelation, in order to know what God is telling us about any subject, not just one verse and event. And while the Bible makes clear there are a few God did take to heaven, this in no way applies to everyone. It was and is God's choice. Second, please look up each and every verse provided in my post. Last, when the Bible was originally written there was no punctuation. And so there was no comma placed where it should have been. The corrected version should read "Verily I say to you today, you will be with me in paradise." Again, add all other verses about death together. Jesus would never contradict Himself/His Word. Also, Jesus did not go to heaven immediately. Note in John 20:17, after He had risen from the dead and Mary met Him on His way to the disciples, He told her "Touch me not, for I have not yet ascended to My Father." Therefore and obviously, the thief on the cross was not with Him in paradise that day for He Himself was not yet there. But again, each and every verse in the Bible about death must be read in order to know exactly what happens when we die. In fact I myself did die and was brought back. I saw nothing, just as the Bible says in one of the texts provided: "For the living know they shall die, but the dead know not anything..." Look it and all verses up. Also, if life after death was true, EVERYONE would experience it and yet many brought back experience nothing. We should never trust what others tell us, and our senses over what God tells us. There's so much more, however, time and space are limited here. God bless and thanks for asking. @@terrynaude284 Jesus Himself did not go to heaven till 3 days later. What Jesus said was a promise which His Word says all along: At the resurrection, at His Second Coming, those who believe in Him as the man on the cross did, will be with Him in heaven. But not till He returns to take us home!
