Signorina Forsepotevo - Short Film (Animation) 

An imagined journey, many things Signorina Forsepotevo dreamed but never had the courage to do.
DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
Signorina Forsepotevo is a personal project, very dear to me, which could only come to life thanks to the collaboration with a unique team of professionals and professionals. Initially, it was born as a written text, the result of a very difficult period in my life. When I had the courage to break away from it and look at it from afar, the first one I shared it with was Vito Sugameli: critical eye and cold mind, it was his idea to transform the Signorina into an animated short film. Luck led me to meet Vera Lazzarini, illustrator and art director, who made this story of her by adapting it into delicate, romantic and melancholy drawings. The first time she showed me on paper the young lady she imagined, for me, it was an emotion: she seemed to have read my thoughts about her. The editing and animation of Vito, who has cinema in his blood, were able to transform these plates into a visual product. But the decisive contribution was given by the sound: Valeria Di Sabato, with the music, rewrote this story, taking away a little of the “fairytale” and bringing it into the contemporary; Dario Castiglione's sound design is a creative and meticulous work, which made the Signorina a story - also - to listen to. I really want to mention the whole group, because never like this time we have created this story together, putting bits of us inside. The result is a story that speaks of loneliness and of which, often, it is not easy to take: if, by seeing and hearing this story, you find a little of yourself, the goal is achieved.
