@@NursingSOS Oh don't worry, I'm fit as a fiddle and no one in my current vicinity seems to be in any kind of trouble (so far at least) Your concern is appreciated though
I went into shock about an hour ago when I was sitting on my couch and a spider came down on a web right in front of my face and my whole body was numb
I am currently trying to be a swim instructor I got my certification and everything but I just needed to watch this because I have to know about all illness such as diabetes, asthma , shock , etc this was very helpful tysm ❤️
I am fairly certain I experienced my first ever shock episode tonight. It happened randomly after my workout. I felt a little sick heading out and while driving it intensified and my arms and hands went completely numb. Vomiting soon followed for half an hour. I for sure thought it was a heart attack, but I am beginning to think it was just my body going into shock and shooting blood from my hands/arms to vital organs.
I went into the ER 3 days after delivering my baby hemorrhaging; it saved me as I went into septic shock 20 minutes after being admitted. I don't remember much except getting huge bottles of blood being pulled out of me before passing out and waking up after an emergency D&C. I got a midline and 6 weeks of intravenous antibiotics. Fun times.
Awesome!! I feel like I've learned more watching three of your videos compared to the last month of studying and reading a confusing textbook. Do you have any videos of the steps of shock? (initial, non progressive, progressive, and refractory stage)
You are too, too kind, Chantelle! At this moment, I don't have any videos on the stages of shock, however, we do have a full series on shock inside the NursingSOS Membership Community (pathophsyiology, signs and symptoms, nursing assessment, and nursing interventions). I hope that helps! :)
Hello!😊 I'm Taslima. Following your videos from Bangladesh. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful techniques.🥰🥰 it's too much helpful. Thanks a lot. ❤️❤️❤️
So happy to hear this video was helpful for you, Taslima akter Shammi! You will do GREAT! Thank you for being here, your support means the world to us. 😊
I thought if you were going into shock it meant you were dying, from what a lot of people are saying it kinda just sounds like they’re having panic attacks. maybe it’s the same thing ? Could it be that when you’re in a panic attack you’re also in shock ? I have so many panic attacks through out the week but I also have low BP, 115/50. then I’m learning about going into shock from severe blood pressure drops and that kinda makes me panic ! but I’ve had hundreds of panic attacks extremely severe ones yet I never pass out and I go back to normal within an hour or 2. There’s no way I could go into shock multiple times and survive right ? it’s has to be just panic ... right ?

I also get electric shocks in my body. Even, I fainted one day in my uncle's house while locking the door. It was like someone pushing me in the floor. Even one day while I was shutting the door of my kitchen, I got sudden shock in my whole body!

You explained everything very well, but being overly enthusiastic while doing it is just irritating in some way - I managed to stay with you till the end of the video- but it was a struggle. It's just a thiny critique - no over the top enthusiasm and unnecessary quips and you'll probably get more subscribers :)
I TOTALLY agree with you! I probably would get more subscribers if I toned it down. 😂 Personally for me though, my enthusiasm and energy is one of my favorite qualities about myself. I love spreading excitement and cheer like it's confetti everywhere I go. :) What's something you love about yourself? I'd love to celebrate that with you! ♥️

Holy shit. This happened to me this morning from pain from herniated disc amd piriformis pain. I thought I was going to faint and vomit at the same time Sweating, heart rate crazy, shaking, fast breathing or short breaths. Never had this before, same with herniated disc. Being in shock was SCARY! Thanks for this video!! What do I do if this happens again? I sat down and got my mum to bring me water and just tried to breathe.

Hey, so yesterday night I was about to sleep around 12:40 am and when I tried sleeping there was some sudden unexplainable shock (no pain felt), it lasted for 2 secs , it continued with small intervals for abt 10-15 mins. I sought of even doubted if I was dreaming ,lol (cause I've never felt anything as such). Whenever it came my eyes went white even though it was closed, and the more consciously I tried to control and get back to sleep, the often it came. It felt as if I was traveling from one universe to another, very surreal. But when I opened my eyes it wouldn't happen. Don't know if it's a creepy or spiritual or some sought of weird medical experiance, I wish it would never happen again.

Hello there by any chance did your electric shocks feel like vibration?? I ask because I’m going through some neck chest back pain for the last 40 days my doctors keep saying it’s anxiety but no one can explain when I sneeze my arms vibrate and he’s getting scarier because now it’s vibrating all the way down to my left arm and it feels numb for 3 to 5 seconds!!
I looked this up because earlier today i was Wall climping and the Rope that is supposed to protect me from falling down broke and i was dangaling 16 feet from the hard floor for about 6 seconds holding on to the rope before i got down and if i had let it go i would be very injured but im fine now.

alondra Lima, Shock is when your body and vital organs are not getting enough blood flow. Anxiety or panic attacks are different. I hope that helps to clarify it for you. :)

Kamala Shrestha, shock ca be caused by many different things, but it is when there is acutely not enough blood flow to the organs in the body. I hope that helps clarify it for you. 😊
