Assalamualaikum sheikh could you please explain where did you get this in formation from that those boys were 7 in quantity where Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says in the Quran Surah Kahaf vers 22 {Some will say, ‘They were three, the fourth of them being their dog,’ while others will say, ‘Five, with their dog being the sixth of them,’ idly guessing at the unknown. Yet others will say, ‘They were seven, the eighth of them being their dog.’ Say: My Lord knows best how many they were. None hut a few have any real knowledge of them. Hence, do not enter into argument about them, except on a matter that is clear, nor ask anyone of these people to enlighten you about them.’} (Al-Kahf 18: 22)

I understand what he is trying to do.....to not let people get hung up on the signs of the hour......however, I don't agree that something like Arabs competing to build tallest building right in front of our eyes, while they were hungry and poor only few decades ago is something to sweep under the rug. Yeah, it may take thousands of years before end or it may take less, but the fact this Hadith has come true right in front of eyes, does mean we are close to end. I also don't appreciate that we don't know which building he was talking about or how many buildings.....that is trying to confuse the issue on purpose to make his point. Again, we shouldn't be hung up on signs, but the Hadith is clear......we will have once hungry and poor Arabs competing to build tallest buildings as one of the signs and it has come true and I don't like that this Shaykh is trying to confuse this issue on purpose for what is greater good.
