Same. I Feel like this Event will be more about the Tournament Itself and not about the Day of the Winner. If the winner has over 70 Rips in the First Place. After all, There's a Reason we're all so Excited for Victory Themes and Interviews from this Tournament. ^^

I'm really happy ZUN was buffed to include other games in the bullet hell genre (NO UNDERTALE), largely because I was one* of the people who suggested that he receive this expansion. I argued that ZUN in the original KFAD didn't offer anything that was truly "unique" for a takeover - that is, nothing that wasn't already par for the course on this channel. With this, we can get rips of games that have been largely ignored on this channel - believe it or not, there's actually a lot! I'm glad the team made it happen! *I'm the only person I know of who suggested this, but I don't want to claim exclusive responsibility for it if there were others.

That's kind of a gray area TBH, considering Hinchy specifically says "shmups." Yes, it's a bullet hell, but it's also a lot more random than what is generally considered as normal for the genre. Not sure if that counts.

I have too, just so you know. I played it a _lot,_ to the point of unlocking everything prior to the release of _Farewell to Arms_ Update. I'm just not sure if it counts as a "shmup" as Hincy said, since it's a bullet hell _rougelike_ with highly random elements as well.

On that note, I'm voting for Mr. Krabs all the way because I grew up with Spongebob my entire life. The problem is all my favorite characters are on the right side of the bracket. It's gonna be hard choosing Mr. Krabs or Daft Punk ft. Pharrell.

While my main is Off the Hook, my secondaries are Weird Al and Dr. Robotnik. I might add Mariya, MissingNo, and Donkey Kong to my picks, though. Either way, Dr. Robotnik has rips that are more to my personal taste. If you would prefer Mr. Krabs and/or Mr. Krabs wins that round, I fully respect that.

I know what you mean man, I know they have access to such an amazing library of songs, but so many of them, save for Missingno, have access to such _nostalgic_ jams. Can you imagine how torturous it’s going to be for Disney/Marvel Thanos to go against Johnny Bravo with his access to all the jams from Cartoon Networks entire catalogue of show songs and Cartoon Network number and promo songs. Disney afternoons versus Cartoon Cartoon Friday’s?! Kim Possible vs. Totally Spies?! American Dragon Jake Long vs. Juniper Lee?! Ed, Edd, & Eddy vs. whatever the hell Disney had that could compete with that shows level of chaotic but pleasing jazz?! Marvel show themes vs. the music from the DC animated universe shows they reran on Toonami?! Johnny Bravo has access to the JLA, Big O, BTAS, Batman Beyond, Static Shock, JLU and Batman The Brave and The Bold soundtracks! I’m voting for the J-Pop star who did the opening and closing themes of Urusei Yatsura, because 80’s J-Pop isn’t represented enough on this channel. Shame that it’s the actual voice actress/ singer instead of some nostalgic representation of that era of anime like Lum-Chan, Ranma, or a fictional band made up of 80’s anime characters or Rumiko herself. I feel like an anime character would get more weeaboo votes.

@@LimitBlade617 Awful? I think making people go through really tough choices early on because it actually makes you have think about which one is better. Professor K was gonna be my main in the first KFAD, and I was gonna secondary him here while mainly voting for Missing No. But now that they are facing each other, I have to actually reconsider what they bring to the table. Genius seeding. They even gave Ajit Pai a fair chance in round one by pairing them with a really obscure character that appeals to a niche demographic, much like he does. If the can make me think about Ajit Pai in a positive light for even a second, I consider it a great thing.

Lots of good contestant! I'm personally on the Weird Al/ＭｉｓｓｉｎｇＮｏ/Johnny Bravo hype train, but it IS extremely difficult to choose since all the characters are so good. Also, Jazz Cats deserve some love!

Why is everyone so good. The characters i'd want to win are papyrus, missingno, adam levine, eminem, rhythm masters, off the hook, dr. piccolo, jack bros, dj professor K, ZUN, Weird Al, donkey kong, nico nico, geno, thanos, and wario and partners LLP (not necessarily in this order) THAT'S LITERALLY HALF THE CAST And the other 16 I'll still be fine with because i know they'll have their fair share of bangers (even my personal least favorite, king dedede, would probably still get some nice rips) This is insane. Thank you siiva team. Also I know i have to defend myself for not liking DDD. Look at it this way. In a normal upload schedule we already get a nice (>:]) amount of kirby rips, but a lot of these characters (such as the weird al half of stand master AL) don't get represented nearly as much. I understand people like good kirby rips though, i just want anybody else to win.

I had bets on Jack & Elmo, until I saw the absolute Hydraulic press of a bracket branch that is DJPK MissingNo HOBaRT and Nintendo Power. Something's got to give, and whoever gets out of that alive will certainly thwart Piccolo, through the sheer determination of people who came that far against a character who had a relatively easy time. Like when Etika beat DJPK, and everyone was all like "boo, you didn't earn that, you should lose round 2" and then he lost round 2. That said, anyone who beats Dr Piccolo before this has good odds of turning the tables and getting all the way to top 6. No matter what, it's unfortunate as hell. Seriously though, I hope everyone remember's HOBaRT's theme and September exist. Whether they are acknowledged in spite of being uploaded two months ago decides who wins out of these 4 contestants, because I think there's a chance people will have glossed over two of the highest quality rips to be had in KFAD2.

Unfortunately a good majority of viewers don't think about all the options when they vote. They vote with their hearts, which is admirable and understandable. But they don't vote thinking about the best music selections which means what should be strong contenders will likely end up knocked to the losers bracket just because they go up against more memed characters.

Coming back to this after getting into anime has made me realise how many sources I brushed aside because I didn't know them. DR PICCOLO WITH ALL SHOUNEN JUMP RIPS??? NICO NICO WITH K-ON RIPS??? EVEN METAL AJIT PAI COULD'VE HAD A CRUEL ANGEL'S THESIS RIP! Also despite not being anime itself, my interest in it has gotten me into Japanese music... AND JESUS CHRIST MARIYA HAS GOOD SOURCES! Still would've gone for my boys Jack Bros though. Although Daft Punk are probably my overall favourites though.

so... mixing weird al, jack bros, and dr piccolo? odd choice but sure personally even though we won't have a kfad3, i'd like a buffed quote with any platformer indie (so adding shovel knight, celeste, etc), a leeble or anyone who can give laura shigihara song rips, and most importantly lo-fi livestream girl having lo-fi and school based rips (which does give her a lot of anime-based rips, as well as games like katawa shoujo or even ddlc?)
