These detectors are quite modern - would have been installed in the last 10-15 years. The small detectors in the corners are Texecom Prestige/Premier Elite QD/DTs, and the large one on the bracket is a Honeywell DT906 long range dual-tech detector (microwave and PIR combined).
The wire in the basement is for shutting the main EGV(Emergency Gas Valve) off at the gas meter. The valve would work on a spring mechanism(under load). At 31:53 you can see the main inlet & outlet pipes for the gas meter & the metal plate attached to the wall where the meter would've sat

That was very interesting to me. I've known a Sikh, family for about 30 years. I have nothing but deep respect and love for them. Sadly they moved to San Francisco, around 10 years ago and we only get together once a year. If everyone walked their talk like they do, we would live in a better world. That 'crap on the floor' at 4.24 was something you could hear was actually dropped or thrown, not kicked, so if it wasn't you, it could have been anomalous.- a 'greeting' from the unseen. It def has the haunted vibe. I's say it's around 1930 built.
