Mighty stuff John. One of the best silage video's. Short clips keep it interesting as opposed to long clips of the same thing which get boring. The fast forwarded clip from the pit and filling is clever. Keep up the good work!

i love workin on a farm even tho i dont have one i worked on one in germany when i was younger and i loved it! i remember i was tryin' to get the eggs from the chicken coop and when i got them i forgot to close the gate so they chased me all through the farm until someone helped me and the bestpart is that i didnt drop one single egg

Good man Perry, good to see a contractor knowin when the trailer is full. Too many ballbags in videos drivin round the field, blowin grass over the side of the trailer just for the look of the job. Good video John, plenty of short clips are the only job.

2 loading shovels in the pit !! Right tool for the job, But then again they are flat compaired to a 200HP tractor buckrake combo, So one can't keep up :)

A mix of both (for cows at least); grass has a lot of proteins and maize has energy.

Grassmen is in Northern Ireland :P

it may not make a profit, but it certainly pays for itself, very few contractors only do grass these tractors are working all year round on different jobs, therefor continuously bringing the money in

I like new holland

The landscape is very hilly and has some steep in/decines. Also roads arent big over there so their choice for more tractors and trailers is quite logical in my opinion.

nice you wont see a new tractor roll that much coal in the usa anymore, you probably get less fuel consumption with out all the EPA stuff missing

to be honest this like grassmen only irish style(i think there irish anyway =P)

tractors work all year round on something or other with all contractors, otherwise they wouldnt do it because they would lose money and go out of business. isnt overly complicated....

Explain to me how all that equipment can be cost effective, unlike a quarry, or large constructn project...it can't be worked continously, no way is there enough work to really pay for it. Looks great, gives all the boys a hardon...but as far as return on investment...ya gotta be kidding me.
