In this episode, we'll ride along with Damien Du Plessis as he receives a load of chop corn silage and makes his way over to HRC Feed Yards to unload. Damien will tell us a little bit about the process of loading and we'll see some shots of the operation in action. Thanks for your excellent video. I am a subscriber. If corn silage, potatoes, sugar beet etc can be dumped into a truck while the harvester keeps going, there is no reason why wheat cant be dumped into a semi while the combine continues to harvest the wheat. By eliminating the tractor and cart it means less augering of the grain which means less fines in the grain, less diesel used, less wear on machinery, less manpower required, less soil compaction of the soil since a tractor and cart dont have to drive back and forth between the combine and truck. This will mean higher profits.
