I really appreciate you not giving a typical narration over the video. The video itself explains what is happening. It does make me appreciate the moments you had with random people on your trip a bit more! You definitely made me think about getting a 645 lol. The soft fall off of the focus in some of the shots is soul satisfying!

This was a joy to watch! I went to the Valley of Fire park near Las Vegas last year - what a gorgeous area!

Very nice work. If you're doing lots of b&w lanscapes, I highly recommend a yellow filter. They're generally inexpensive and well worth it to help get more dynamic skies with mixed clouds. Cheers!

shoot.. i can't stop coming back to this. i've made about 10 unreleased videos about my photography and i hate all of them. but this is making me realize, i can make every video it's own short film if i put in the effort. and that's what i've been wanting to do. thank you for inspiring me, and showing me how i can make my videos accessible while making what i want to make.

the pentax 645 is sooooo good for what it is. Such an easy camera to use for a first time medium format shooter. Great shots as well!

Excited for a video on b&w contrast filters! They're a lot of fun to experiment with and add a whole other dimension to shooting b&w!

What a great place to photograph. I went there once after spending a week on vacation in New Hampshire. The difference between endless green forests and desert was mind-blowing and unsettling at first. I had a lot of fun, was running around like a kid in a candy store, and took pictures of everything in all directions. Great video! You should consider doing a video in B&W too.

I have an admission to make. The Mamiya 645J I used many years ago is possibly the camera I have most enjoyed using. I still print negatives from those days. I adore the more rectangular aspect ratio of 6x4.5, 35mm and 5x7. Thanks for the great video!

Got the xt4, friend has the gfx. Love fuji lol. I like this format of photo videos: it’s less sleep inducing than those that have the chill music playing. Adding the music makes me want to sleep.

Love hearing the sounds of nature, the background noise and the camea. Far better than annoying intro music and endless talking! Also 5:42 is a stunning shot!

Used the 645 for years, personal work and Events. Never failed me. Had two actually. with 45, 55, 75, 120macro and 150 mils.

This is the best photography vlog I've seen in ages. I first watched this about a week ago. Every vlog I've watched since, as soon as the annoying vlog background music starts while the photographer is shooting on scene, I have to turn the volume down. Please keep doing these "silent" vlogs. But not too silent. The commentary is most welcome. Your photos and aesthetic are wonderful!

Most content these days is focused on shooting up the dopamine levels of viewers and trying to milk the most out of the limited attention span which most people have. And then there’s your content, which is not another imitation of a familiar template, or one which uses one of those lofi copyright free music in order to look ‘unique’. Your videos are truly a work of art, it is truly yours and only you can make this type of content. I am grateful to you for being a content creator who still makes raw, unfiltered, unapologetically unique videos!

Watching this has made me realise something. I live in London and i haven't left the city for i don't know how long. Years. I live here, I work here, I shop here, I wished i could say I play here but don't get out much. And i haven't been to a wide open space for years and watching this video I realise i'm missing out.
