I see! I NEED TO BUY MY NEW FRIENDS! Thanks for the advice. I will go get that 150k loan now. Can't have an LF without at least one Signature prime. Otherwise my D is not big enough!@@parkawearingpanda8970
Very cool. But it does seem ridiculous that we have to turn a 1.59lb plastic camera into a 25lb behemoth to shoot with it, but I get it, that's what we have to do these days. We will eventually get to a 1.59lb phone or camera eventually that won't need most of this stuff hanging off of it (we shoot documentaries in case you couldn't tell!), then we'll be getting somewhere with technology. Your clip looks great!
Well the bmpcc is a marketting meme, you don't want to shoot handheld with just a lens, else it's gonna be shaky garbage and 30min battery life. On the other hand the sensor and image processing is so good and the ease of use and flexibility is on par with the best cinema cameras on the market (black magic UI is life), so people use it this way, as a brain that needs a rig, and it's the only way to get these kind of cinematic shots. They're right and in the end the result you get with all the rig is on par with very high end cameras and even with the rig inclued you payed less than a medium range camera body only. Also dual iso sensor FTW, no excuse to screw a shot now.
