The path from Mettlach leads over rocky terrain to several vantage points with picturesque views
to the Saar valley and the wooded ridges with Montclair Castle.
From the Cloef vantage point you have an impressive view of the Saar loop.
In the Steinbachtal nature reserve, the route runs over a number of wooden bridges and many steps.
It's steadily going down. The foliage of the trees allows hardly any sunlight to penetrate the narrow Kerbtal.
It is breathtakingly quiet in the valley.
