Yeah I agree. SH and SH2 are classics but imo SH2 was always to me anyway much more depressing and sad than all out scary, SH3 is far more nightmarish.
every time I hear this song, I find myself stuck in Silent Hill world, trapped in a nightmare full of monsters, trapped in the world shopping as well as seeking answers in order Silent Hill will always be the best horror game franchise
@@tom-ne1ux Actually it already ended back in 2012 XD So I'm all good now, but I think I should have ended it way before that, you know? You can't change anyone, so you might as well just let that person go, for your own good even. And I got pretty sad, those were hard times... But here I am now :P
Volveré dentro de 10 años para escuchar esto y aún así será de lo mejor. Espero que algún día salga otro silent hill por lo menos que cuando venga haya otro silent hill.
Especially a March 6th video. This is an insanely early upload. The guy's account is from the end of 2005 as well. this was uploaded 2 years before 480p was even available to watch with.
DarkRubberDucky Akira Yamaoka is the undisputed lord of Silent Hill music, no question there. But I think Daniel Licht had a few nice tunes in Downpour, too. It's a nice creepy, mysterious sound but lacks the more emotional side of Yamaoka's hits. Fun fact: Licht did the score for the show Dexter too, which I like.
I thought it was the most awesome thing when they used this song in the Silent Hill movie. Was a good movie, not the GREATEST, but definitely was brilliant how they used the sounds and music from the game, and more game movies should do that.
This game is over 20 years old but they did such a damn good job on all the character models. That's what I loved most about the old Silent hill games. The team really worked hard and put a lot of love in to these games. And you can see it. ❤ Anytime I've made mods for these games. I'm always amazed at how well they made everything and the textures. They really meant it.
Blue sky to forever, The green grass blows in the wind, dancing It would be much better a sight with you, with me, If you hadn't met me, I'd be fine on my own, baby, I never felt so lonely, then you came along, So now what should I do, I'm strung out, addicted to you, My body it aches, now that you're gone, My supply fell through, You gladly gave me everything you had and more, You craved my happiness, When you make me feel joy it makes you smile, But now I feel your stress, Love was never meant to be such a crazy affair, no And who has time for tears, Never thought I'd sit around and cry for your love, 'till now
What I love about Silent Hill is that it's hauntingly beautiful, and it's deadly perfection of finding the best and worst in people. It deals with innerturmoil, fear, solice, and regreat..but also finds the compassion, faith, strength, couage, and most of all in it's inportance...love. Wether it be for Good or Evil,...or both.
Pretty deep song with a message of guilty longing too. Some years ago I once tossed this song on my former girlfriend's computer for her to listen to, since liked it, but also giving her a subliminal message as well, since our relationship was failing due to her repeated willful mistakes and no longer being trustworthy. Lyrics also accurately describe how we met, and it was kind like a last warning to her leading up to the end. Sad how sometimes you could shove a post-it on someone's head telling them what they are doing wrong...and yet it does nothing. Some years later, being these last several months, this song likely now has significance in all her unanswered messages to me, reminding her constantly of what she threw away.
some of the smartest people alive believe in something called the multi-verse theory.. wich means every possible reality that can exist, does exist... which would mean in some other far off universe/reality, there really was a heather that went through all that ~_-
Esta canción hace volver a ese sentimiento de la epoca del 2000 como los movimientos de la camara, colores saturados y sepias y eso le da un efecto sombrio casi como si hubiera despertado antes de tiempo cuando era niño yo
one of my favorite games. I recently found, purely by chance, a save file from Silent Hill 3 from July 10, 2007 on one of my Playstation 2 cards. and I was very sad that I no longer have the PS2 CD for the game. I thought it was absolutely brilliant.
Or at least mouth this beautiful song. Remember Heather's voice actress is not the same person as the singer who actually sang that song. But wouldn't have been nice if Mary Elizabeth McGlynn voiced the character of Heather? I think so.
@DrZann I do For some reason though I always prefer female protagonists anyway, and I'm a guy. I guess female characters are just more realistic and likeable. I don't know
I love heather, it might sound weird by I see her as a role modle. Shes 17 right? well Im 16 and I dont think I would ever have the balls to do what she did. I know shes just a fictional character but seeing what she had to go through in the game inspires me.
What i love about this song, as that as well as it being a nice rock-type song. It still carries the very creepy melodies from silent hill. Example, the guitar part in the beginning that goes semi off tune. Then during the singing parts(the 2nd guitar, NOT ryhtmn) great song.
I most enjoy the music of these games near the time of Christmas i don't know why but it just gives you a havppy feeling listening to them during that time.
I still have this music video on a playstation 2 demo disc I used to replay this demo about 20 times and watched this video so many times this game is just to cool thats all I can say, the music is both cool and creepy.
before anyone thinks it is, this isn't an AMV, its a promotional video for both the game and the song. (: Awesome though. If only it was an AMV, whoever made it would have had SKILLS. xD;
