Hi Abigale! Do you have a RU-vid video lesson showing how to play this fingerpicking style Silent night on the Baritone? I tried to figure it out from the video but can't quite get there. I wanted to be able to play it for my Mom this year at Christmas back in PA. My Dad passed away and she's not doing too well and this was their favorite song that my dad played for her every Christmas on his mandolin. Thanks for any help! Paul
Haha! Thank you so much! It’s an A9 chord, so like an A7 with a B note added on top (which is the melody note). It’s so beautiful to me, particularly in this context!
So sad your $1 and $5 Patreon levels are sold out. I can't afford $10 right now (COVID furloughs from my job). Oh well, I'll still enjoy your videos as always. :-)
Thank you so much! I totally understand. I’ll likely be adding some individual tabs to my website for purchase soon, so maybe that will be a better fit!
Absolutely! Well... I’m still trying to figure out the best way to teach these arrangements, but I could at least play through slowly with tabs thrown up on screen!
I just tried to sign up for Patreon to get tabs, but you're sold out at the lower levels. Why put a limit there? I'm certainly not going to spend 100/year for a few tabs.
Hey there! Thanks for reaching out. I recently decided to streamline the tiers offered on my Patreon so I could focus on giving all of my patrons higher quality content. Since it’s a monthly subscription, everyone has the option to cancel if they don’t feel the content is worth it, so there’s no commitment to paying $100 a year. But I absolutely hear your concern and I appreciate you sharing your opinion!
@@AbigailFlowersMusic Streamline the tiers... so you can focus on quality. Ok. I don't see how more subscribers would prevent you from producing quality content. I think someone is giving you bad advice. I do love your channel though. Here's my advice: Don't try to force people into higher tiers, don't encourage people to sign up for one month and cancel. Encourage subscribers at all levels, especially the lower tiers. Once you have them engaged on that platform, demonstrate the value in upgrading to a higher tier.
@Rob Sheppard I've chosen, for the time being, to have one main tier so that I don't have to manage multiple "streams" of content for different tiers. I completely understand that many folks will choose not to spend $10 a month, which is a perfectly valid decision! Again, I hear you, and I'm sure your ideas would work great! But Patreon is one of many 'jobs' I manage, so I've made the decision that works best for me and my current Patrons. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
For what it’s worth, I did decide to take off the limit on the $5 level after another person reached out. I don’t think you were very kind in how you spoke to me, but your feedback was valuable anyway. Thanks!
I'm really very sorry. I didn't mean to be unkind. I think your reason of being too busy to manage multiple tiers was a good one and I would completely understand if you collapsed them into one tier. However now I will happily sign up for the lower tier if it is available. I love your channel and your music. Please forgive me for being a pain.
