Zember A bit late, but check out the Danish hiphop scene (the REAL one, not all that pop-sh*t). Probably a bit smaller than those you mention, but definitely with some skilled guys. It was mainly back in the days the good stuff came out (either that, or I'm getting old), but luckily it's still possible to find some new stuff, that is dedicated to hiphop.
Get used to it. There are still many great MCs from the English-speaking world, but increasingly the best pure hip-hop is coming out of places like Germany, Sweden, France, etc. US rappers are either more interested in mumble rap or their beats suck. The vintage hip-hop vibe is to be found elsewhere.
check out the old school Tommy Tee from Norway, Petter from Sweden, toss Ken Ring from Sweden in there as well ;) Tommy is a well known producer, been working with Large Proffessor etc back in the days. check em out man!: D
