My chronic illness has been kicking my ass recently so I've been stuck in bed watching RU-vid, and this was incredibly calming and distracted me from my pain for 10 minutes, no small feat. Thank you!
@@chapoguzman8627 Not sure what's funny. I've been doing this (and more) on my SP3 and SP4 for years. It's also a lot more powerful and runs the full Adobe suite of products.
Funny you mentioned Bob Ross..was just watching something about him. You know you can NOT buy his paintings...they're sitting in boxes in a warehouse in Herndon Virginia. He did 31 TV Series, 13 programs, and 3 versions of each painting.....Yikes! There worth millions..... A few went to the Smithsonian...
@@raphiell8435 well unfortunately I have seen some comments that are like: " oh can't he act normal"....... See I don't think that but there are all kinds of people 😬😃
The music complimented the entire video to a perfect "T" I would like to see more videos like this. Keep up the awesome work, and thank you, for your hard work and dedication you put into your content.
WHAAATTSSS UP EVERYBODY! Peter McKinnon here and welcome back to yet another video. Its so good to see all of your smiling faces. TODAY we are talking about the editing photos on IPAD!! OOOO OHH YYYAAAA. Super pumped, Lets jump right into it..... (You are welcome.)
This was the most relaxing video I've ever watched. I'm sitting in my car while my son sleeps during a torrential downpour here in chatham kent, and it was the perfect video to entertain myself as I, too, sit silently
Pete silent for 9mins while awake? This is a phenomenon all in itself. This was a joy to watch in my chaotic Bay Street downtown office lol. Solid stuff 🤘🏽
learned a lot in this video. I personally am a visual learner. and watching you edit your photos gave me oohs and ahhs in my mind. I understand a little bit more now, how a person can stand and stare at a painting seemingly lost, but watching this video gave me a different perspective on things. thank you.
From 2017 on, I’ve been using the iPad Pro for all my photos and video, affinity photo and LumaFusion just work. I also use light room cc for iPad.....and Pete, watching you chug along on something I fly at makes me giggle a little.
It's been years that I edit photos better with facetune / snapseed / vscocam than photoshop / lightroom. I got the iPad Pro 12 but I'm so fast on the iphone XS
This is probably my favorite PM video ever lol. The fact that he didn't utter a sound makes it THAT much more dope. The typical video would be some guy over-explaining the thing but here I can just... WATCH!
In the midst of a binge of your photo business pointer vids, a flury of ideas heating up in my head, I imperceptibly start to wind down, until I suddenly realize I had entered a lull, lured by the graceful lullaby of fluid classical music, and much to my surprise I had missed an entirely fascinating video, which I enjoyed after the much needed chill moment.
I haven't edited in Lightroom with a PC since I got my iPad. I only use a Mac when I need Photoshop, getting the photos synced to the cloud after import through Lightroom Classic, or copying and pasting edits for wedding photos. 10/10 would recommend editing on iPad. So much easier to use and makes texting proofs to clients or friends a breeze.
Dang this was so satisfying to watch and honestly I’ve been thinking about switching to the iPad and now I just might and you didn’t even say a single word to convince me hahaha
I can confirm the laptop is still the way to go. It is super nice to use the iPad Pro 12.9" with the pencil, I have the 256GB option but it's file management has caused me problems, you rinse the battery on half brightness, you're missing features and I have random raw file import issues using the SD card reader. I also can't get through 30-40 minutes of editing without Lightroom crashing either which is a huge disappointment. The screen is beautiful for editing photos though, it just doesn't match a laptop if you want to do more than casual stuff. I'm switching to the Dell XPS for future photo editing.
@@strubbelknopf3402 Good stuff. Sadly mine has just frustrated me for the reasons I've laid out above, I guess it depends on what you're doing & your workflow. For me a laptop is just the right way to go, I'm using multiple devices especially with the Synology NAS backup, the iPad is slow AF to do the uploads where-as my phone is rapid etc.
VOLT GAMING No i don't think so. My iphone can do everything ur Ipad can do. I need a laptop for heavier tasks such as music production, video editing etc.
I hate the fact that even though I knew what was coming I could watch it for almost 10 minutes without hearing a single word, and could enjoy it for another few hours. Genius!
25 seconds in I checked how long it's been since Peter went without talking. I was way off after almost 10 minutes of silence haha This video was weirdly soothing
Andrew Flint I know, bud. I have lumafusion on both my phone and my iPad Pro. What I was saying was it would be sick if he did a full video using ONLY his iPhone with like Moment lenses and a Freefly Movi, and then finish it in Lumafusion.
This is exactly what I needed, I got into photographer a handful of years back, but I always hated sitting at the computer, going through all the photos wanting to edit the shit out of them time after time. I started just sending the fuji files to my phone and doing a quick tweak... which I really loved. I just want to take a good photo, send it to mobile and upload it a few minutes later, so it was really pleasing to watch this. Might invest in an ipad soon.
I first started editing photos on an iPad air 2, I loved that in different types of shoots I could take a photo and edit it on location and my clients loved it as well.
@@derekpalmer_creativemedia agreed. He can can be really tasteful, but sometimes... lol I can't forget he put a snowy mountain in the middle of a desert.
