if you warm your heat press briefly then lay your vinyl on it while you rub it & peel it helps release the stickiness. I will also use my stiletto tool to lift a small piece

Easier method: Mirror your image prior to print (to print backwards) then weed extra material, place image on shirt with pattern on shirt place Teflon over do heat press then just remove plastic film.

A-Dubb Productions Allan Wade your vinyl design side goes face down you do not need that clear transfer stuff I felt your pain though heat transfer vinyl already has a clear film, mirror your image then you actually peel access design off and weed, but I love that you do not take out you errors because some of us because of your videos will know what to do, thank you so much

Mayra rueda you have to use the transfer film with this material I’m using. The design is only on one side. Mirroring will not work. If i where to mirror it then press it into the shirt so that it can read properly that print would not be there. The other side of this material is blank. If probably wouldn’t even press.

To answer your question (minutes 19:28) To lift the image easier before you lay the transfer tape, take your weeding tool with the point and lift the edge on one side of the design to get it started this way when you pull the tape back after you use the squeegee the loose edge will cling and easily lift the rest of the image up all the way... Works well on larger cuts tiny images too but a little more time-consuming.

That beginning has me 😂 already. An easier way I would try, turn the image transfer side down, and pull up the carrier sheet. Haven’t used this type but that’s what I do with regular vinyl.

I have found that if you peel the backing instead of the transfer tape, it comes off easier.

YOu can use a credit card to squeegee if you don't have a professional tool available. Also, I usually put the image down on the table and peel the backing off. You are bending the image, if you bent the backing usually it will come off better. If the image starts to come up, you can use a finger to press it down while you continue to peel the back off.

I think It’s easier to peel the design when you flip it upside down and bend the vinyl paper up like curling it instead of pulling the transfer paper up

You know more than me but I've always had good luck even with 1/4" letters by putting the transfer tape face down, the backing on top and pulling the backing off at a 180 degree pull.

When you get your GS500 you can print your own custom vinyl. I bought 2 of them one for printing on vinyl only and the other for doing sublimation only I am still waiting for them!. Oh, and they sent you that print because you are such a good weeder! Duh.

Try rubbing it on the back as well as the front and then placing it front side down and peeling the back of it from the actual transfer tape..
