Its the depth, because the body is just pitch black without any lines, we can't recognise its depth, wether its concave or convex is uncertain. That's why just a few lines could indicate the direction of the spin or thats what human brain perceive.

If you stare at the middle ones left wrist and just stare blankly they will all move the same direction. But I think what makes this illusion or thing is the white on the Silhouettes when they spin is representing a light being projected to make the Silhouettes appear like they're spinning in a certain direction

The more you look at it, the more you start thinking that the right one is incorrect, as the left leg needs to drop a bit lower to maintain a perfect silhouette when the leg is farther back, whereas on the left silhouette, the perspective along with the clockwise rotation simply takes care of that Also the leg stretches weirdly, since it starts from the left hip and needs to go to the right; it just feels more odd looking at the right silhouette than the left one.
Because the model is blacked out she looks the same whichever sided she is facing. Also her legs can either be interpreted as a left or right leg because of how straight it is. So really she is spinning both directions

in my opinion the central image changes direction. If you only look at the one in the middle, all the time, you can clearly see that it changes direction.
Tip to see both on your own. Cover the top half of her body with your hand so you cant even see her hands. Look at the foot the swings around. If you look closely you can see that that leg never in facts swings all the way around but just goes back and forth. Imagine someone having a stop watch and is trying to hypnotize you. That movement. Once you realize this and actually make yourself see it that way you can watch it go back and forth and when it gets to the, say the left, keep imagining it continues to keep going and all the way around. You will be able to make her spin which ever way you want

I am not a scientist or whatever but i have a basic understanding of what is happening so imma try to explain this. Basically our brain always thinks in a straight way. What i mean is that you cannot do opposite things at the same time, try to spin your hands at different directions, as you can see it is incredibly hard doing it without help. So what is happening in this video is two figures spinning with another in the center.I guess that the placement and the figure in middle and lines also take a major part in this video.
If u look closely u can see it actually rotates clockwise, pay attention to standing foot movement, it is clockwise, even right side figure once observed on standing foot, moves clockwise

Try covering one side then switch to the other one. It will look like they are rotating in different ways but will rotate the same way after like 2 seconds.
I think if u see to the left figure,the middle figure will go to the left side Same with the right figure,if u see it,the middle one will go to the right
It took me a few minutes to know that they're 90% the same and not completely different because of the silhouette and the directions. The 10% is the lines lol. Lemme give you a different perspective, lets say we're looking at the top of the spinning figures. You look at the arms that are way more out than the other ones. First Left: *arm going up * Right: *arm going down * Second Left: *arm going down * Right: *arm going up * And it repeats again from first then second then first and so forth. You get what I'm trying to say right? Even though when you look to the left figure from looking at the right figure, you think they're moving the opposite sides. You'd basically think "Wait this isn't the same." Then you look back at the right figure and think "Oh, wait I thought the left was- wait WHAT??!" Like you'd think they're as the same direction as the other, but the way I see it is that *if the right figure does the same by moving the other way, then the right figure's silhouette wouldn't be moving the same as the left and middle ones, thus making the right silhouette's (exclude the lines on this thought) movement not synced with the figure in the middle.* Now keep in mind, the red and blue lines tell you which one is the left leg and limb, and which one is the right leg and limb. Red = Left Blue = Right White = just for optical support cuz you won't be able to tell if the limbs are at the front or back, or something like that- And without all those lines, it wouldn't matter which direction it goes. Like the one on the middle figure.
Fun fact: they're all turning the same way. The highlighted outlines is what confuses you. You can check this by changing the motion/speed in settings and pause at the point where you're certain she's facing away from you, you'll then notice in the other images, either of them will show an outlined face (eyes) that will face you, which manipulates your eyes and tells your brain its going the opposite way.
