Silkk The Shocker is a Legend in The Game, he is indeed a Muti Platinum Selling Artist on No Limit Records Label. Younger brother to Master P & C-Murder and Original member of The 504 boys & TRU. No Record Label in the industry could compete with No Limit Records during their reign. Silkk is to be Respected.
Charge it 2 Da Game was bumpin, but when C-Murder's Life or Death came out the next month in 98 it murdered this album. Also FUN FACT. When Charge it 2 Da Game originally came out in Feb of 98 the credit card was Gold. Later after the album was certified platinum P changed the card
+arthur weeny 98 was an amazing year for C Murder, He was on fire. All material released that year were his best work. Example Skys the limit, Life Or Death, Am I My Brothers Keeper album
Ah... I wondered why that'd happened. I got it like the first couple days it was out and mine was gold, but every tie I'd seen it after that, it was the other one, even on the disc itself.
+DIXI FREELY Bruh RT..I was just about to comment about You Aint GotTo Lie To Kick It being my fav song on the album.. I still ride to that on a friday/weekend blunt blowin on a cruise mission..Honorable Mentions.. "If I Dont Gotta".. "Who Can I Trust" & "Momma Always Told Me"
+Thomas Banks Absolutely...And I loved the way P and C exchanged lines on Mama Always Told Me...Then the Great 8Ball closed it out....Craig B shined hard on that album.
No Limit had successful albums prior to Ghetto D Mr Serv On's Life Insurance, Mia X Unladylike, TRU TRU 2 Da Game, Master P Ice Cream Man, I'm Bout it Soundtrack. But it was when P dropped Ghetto D that Orange Classic CD that No Limit really took off. Then Mystikal,s Unpredictable dropped in November, Young Bleed My Balls in my word dropped in January 1998 then Silkk the Shocker's Charge it 2 Da Game in February 1998. Mac's Shell Shocked, Fiend's There's one in every family, Kane and Abel's Am I my Brothers keeper all dropped after in that same year.
i love the whole album charge it 2 da game is a classic -n- it all starts with i'm a solider. silkk the shocker, master p, fiend, c-murder, mystikal, mac, lil gotti, skull duggery, big ed, mia x sets the album off just right
im bout it soundtrack went hard ass fuck... listen to there old cds brings back alot of memories...it good to see slikk still doing his thang one love shocker!!
shit ghetto trying to kill me was the best song ever master p is my favorite rapper all time till this day my favorite rapper anything p come with iam fuckin with it
Man, I loved the shit out of this album. I was actually the only guy in my school that could wrap my words around Mystikal's verses, though. Used to piss people off, but in a good way. Is it me, or does he look as though he's uncomfortable, like he's just dying for the interview to be over? At least in the beginning, anyhow.
A lot of rappers wish they could have got one of them master p deals but sad that will never happen there will never be another black man with that much control of his music again...
I don't want to be hear if I don't gotta/ my weed habit iz so close to snortin powder/ got a few bitches but they all about a dollar/ and they don't want Holla unless you moving narcotic
Even Though No Limit Records Is No Longer Up & Running I Still To This Day Rep Both Bama & The Big Easy Because On My Mother's Side I Have Family In The N.O. ( New Orleans ) Free C-MURDER
Lol sorry Silkk but Tupac Aint Gotta Lie to kick it came out a year before your album did. And it was obviously recorded way before it was posthumously released. Just saying. You aint gotta lie to kick it Silkk smh
"you aint gotta lie to kick it for ya tricks & you bitches trying to get a niggas riches" ft. Richie rich classic never heard Sliks verse cause silk sucked for real
They don't won't to talk about cases but you can talk about how much time they give you, Im glad Boosie speaks on his cases because he beat them and it aint shit they can do about it
+Nuked Out He did 4 years for some weed man! I wouldn't call that beating it. Them murder charges is because somebody high up wanted him. To be honest, he lucky he got out. Because in Louisiana that Napoleonic law is a bitch...
Not just weed Contraband ...and I know I live in Louisiana i know how the laws are, people in other states can do a criem and get 15 to 10 years or less but in Louisiana you get life for thoses crimes
If C-Murder did not do it then he knows who did, the right thing to do is to tell who did it....if snitching is not his thing then he has no choice but to take the wrap. The law, and society don't want to here about know he is innocent without proof. Also I know this video is old and he lost the appeal.......wish you well C...but murder is equal punishment ...your life
I agree about eye for a eye , Unless it was self defense in a general aspect. To kill a 16 year old fan? That doesn’t make sense. Something fishy about these rap murders back In the day. It’s like some of these real rappers were gaining so much power, for the right or wrong reason or even both and then got cut off. Look how much power jay z has in his hands and dr Dre. They went a different route, if you know I’m taking about. It’s deeper than you think. Where’s master p? The question nowadays is who is master p?
eating chewing in an interview? very unprofessional poor from an interviewer standpoint. all other interviews they ask them not to eat or stop chewing gum
