The choice is based on the opinion of each individual judge. It is her right and also there is a reason why there are 4 judges.

er ... what? I thought that was the whole point of the judges - they judge based on _their_ opinions, not anyone else's. If anything, it shows Heidi's integrity to stick to her beliefs and not be swayed by peer pressure, which ain't something everyone can do

She's a model and a mom. What is your talent? But if what you're saying that she should be a performer of some kind to be a judge then you should have a bigger problem with Simon, which has no talent and thinks he is a genius just by putting pretty boys together in a band and when even a deaf person can see that they can sing, but Simon is neither a musician nor a singer. But even if you're a performer or a comedian or whatever doesn't mean that you're gonna be a good judge. As a judge Heidi is not better nor worse than the others, in fact I've seen Howie or Simon or Mel or Howard making many more stupid decisions over the years. Personally I like Simon as a judge but I have no issue with Heidi either. Also I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't like you as a judge, cause just by reading your question I think you wouldn't know how to be fair.

I said that about being a mom or a model because she probably has done more and lived more than the person trying to disrespect her. You wouldn't last a day as a model, also go and tell your mom that she's not talented for being a mom. But the bottom line is that you agreed that Simon has no talent, so if he can be a judge so can Heidi. The fact that you like her or not is completely irrelevant. And about the effort that Simon requires to put pretty boy bands together I'm gonna take it as a joke!!! Also if he can't sing or isn't a musician, according to you, he shouldn't be a producer either... oh! wait ! but you like Simon, don't you? so then He Can. That's your "logic". Congratulations.

​@@georgerodger2104 The bottom line was if she was fit to be a judge or not, and the person asking what was her talent was implying that she wasn't. I just pointed out that other judges have no talent as well and have also made terrible choices over the years. And to have some talent in one field doesn't mean that you're gonna be a good judge anyway, so the real issue here is just that Reeves and Rodger doesn't like Heidi, which is completely irrelevant and nobody cares. If at least you had argumented that Simon or others shouldn't be a judge either for the same reasons as Heidi (or that everybody can be a judge as long as they try to be fair) then your opinion would have some value. So you should not be a judge either because you don' know how to be fair.
