Arty earned his stripes for sure so far - considering how much he played in NHL comparing to DeSmith.... Give to this kid some credit folks. He is being called 3rd string goalie everywhere and by everyone, that must have feel s*** even if it is true or no. Kid is bringing his best for Us. I would consider him a future Goalie of the Canucks - he is much closer to Vancouver's culture than we want to accept.
Yes. I think we let DeSmith go and call up Silovs. He has more than proven himself to be capable at the NHL level. He will probably be the backup with a couple more years left on Demko's contract. By the time Demko's ready to leave Silovs is gonna be scary in net. LETS GO NUCKS
@@riffgrooveare you insane?? Demko is one of the best in the league and we have stellar back up! Nucks have a great goalie system, have had for years now!
@daveg-Vancouver_Island Demko is a fantastic goalie. I never said otherwise. But he's not doing us any good if he's always injured. He was completely gone for the last 7 weeks of the season. Then he came back and played ONE game in the playoffs before he was hurt again.
if he continues to improve he's the obvious choice to back up. I dont think the Canucks can afford Casey. After the good season he had backing up he will get a few good offers so dont feel bad for DeSmith
