A large but small silver and gold melting furnace (kiln) allows you to melt up to 1 lb of metal. Here a demo of a silver but gold looking melt into ingot. www.911metallu...
nice. Im trying to build something like this. this is one of the best videos on how to do this. nice pour. would have loved to see the result after pickling the flux off..
How did you make the foundry? Does it fall apart after multiple heats and cools? How did you make the propane burner? Was it an expensive process? Could you use the pyrometer to measure the temperature of the foundry or kiln? How did you heat your kiln so quickly? Also GREAT video, I have not seen many kilns like this. And I have not seen or heard of any that can heat up so quickly. Nor many that can reach that high of a temperature. If still using propane, what do you think the max temperature could be?
+911 Metallurgy Corp. hello, do you know or anyone here knows, if after making the ingots you can sell them in USA/EUR only with the number of grams/oz and karats without the other marks that some of them have? Cheers
