Well done for persevering and you were rewarded with a lovely Vicky silver. The horses don't seem to be bothered or pay you any attention, you can tell they are used to seeing you on that land. Tell Al he could always detect in a powerchair and have you digging for him, only joking lol Hopefully his back will improve and he will be detecting again in the near future. Hi Jon , it took a while to find anything decent but there was only a handful of places to detect because of the long grass but as you say it paid of in the end and who knows what else might have turned up if all the grass had been short , i will tell Al about your idea with the chair 😂 but i think he is on the mend anyway hope all is good with you and Wendy many thanks ATB Rob 🙋♂👍

Hi Jim , it was a hard day digging all the crap and the sixpence was a very welcome surprise just wish the grass was a bit shorter i might have found some other goodies but there was only a few areas that were short enough to detect anyway a good day and hot to , best wishes and good luck ATB Rob 🙋♂👌👌👌

Hi Pat , thanks mate it was hard graft but it paid of in the end as for the horses they are ok unlike the horses on the adjoining permission there is about 25 of them in a massive field and they are all nutters i give them a wide berth as you say you cant argue with a ton of muscle , anyway good to hear from you best wishes and ATB Rob .

Can't fault that for a day detecting with the minature ponies and bagged yourself yet another silver coin. I always find searching under pylons I find junk left over from when they were erected, like electrical wire connections n things 😂 Bit also good places to search as others may have not bothered or been able to. Hi , it's a great place to go detecting the wildlife and the scenery are wonderful so even if you dont find much it's just a joy to be there and a privilege to wander round on private land and something interesting usually turns up , and as you say most people give the pylons a wide berth so it's worth a nosey round although there is a load of electrical crap , and hopefully Al is on the mend i will pass on your regards , thanks pal 👍
