Bought and used on a flight already and it’s 🙌 so good! That full flat is amazing! And the unfold I found to be superrrr snappy and quick once I figured out where to grab for the flick out lol
@@wreath10I do! It’s wonderful for what it is. It performs fantastically as an airport ultra-compact and is super smooth and easy to fold and unfold. Still loving the full flat! I am currently on a month long vacation so really getting a lot of use going on walks. And because the front wheels can lock, I even used it to jog a handful of times, on smooth paved neighborhoods. and it performs really well!
@@flyinghaggertys9362 did they let you store it in the overhead compartment? I’ve heard it can fit under the seat as well. Not sure if you tested that theory out but would be cool if it could lol
@@wreath10 I didn’t try to take it on board yet 😂 I didn’t want to deal with walking down the aisle with it and a bag and a baby- since we had direct domestic flights so far I wasn’t worried about it getting lost. but in December I will be testing that out putting on board with me when we go to Europe!
@@wreath10also so far I’ve only flown on budget airlines with it, spirit & allegiance, where carry on over head luggage costs extra - but gate checking is free
I have the Jet 4 and the wheels are… not great. Would you say you’ve seen an improvement with the Jet 5 for the wheels? Everything else about it we love.
The stupidity of the design of the Jet 3 storage drives me mad and would make me unlikely to buy this brand again. I also don’t find it unfolds as easily and the magnetic buckle can be super frustrating to use. As well, the ventilation window doesn’t stay open unless you jam it with the viewing window. It doesn’t look like they fixed any of those issues.
I'll stick to my Joolz Aer. It's decent though. It's cheaper than the the Aer. Silver Cross is now Chinese that's why they offer really competitive prices despite the brand heritage.
I watched this video right before purchasing a travel stroller. I usually enjoy your videos and am a big Nuna fan, but this time I’m very disappointed. The quality of this stroller is questionable-it even arrived faulty. The materials look cheap. I’m sending it back and have decided to go with the Joolz Aer Plus instead. Is this your honest review? I have my doubts.
Oh no😔 I just ordered this and it’ll be here tomorrow! I was debating between this and the jet 4. I really loved the lay down feature, the weight capacity being 55lbs and how narrow it is when it folds. How do you like the joolz?
Seriously, no one mentions the major flaws of the silver cross. I have the Jet 3 and am so disappointed with it. It’s the baby purchase I regret the most.
@@MagicBeansVideos so many! I hate the useless storage caddy, the magnetic buckle, the fold, the viewing flap and the seat itself doesn’t seem super comfortable. It has a cheap cardboard feel to it. The bar in the middle of the storage caddy renders it almost useless. I can barely fit a light jacket. Even the smallest diaper bag wouldn’t fit. It’s the stupidest design. The fold/unfold isn’t nearly as easy as reviews make it out to be. You absolutely need 2 hands. I’ve gotten used to it but was amazed at how easy the bugaboo butterfly is by comparison. The magnetic buckle is super tricky and often falls apart as you’re trying to wrangle a squirmy baby. You need to get it exactly right for it to work and I struggle almost every day with it. The ventilation flap magnet only works if you keep the viewing window closed. It’s also counterintuitive to use. Those are my major beefs with it and I regret buying it so much. The main good things about it are the small footprint, that it comes with a lot of accessories out of the box and that it can be used very early without needing a bassinette. It was the cheaper option especially considering the accessories but I still regret this purchase.
