Silver Dollar City 2022 - This Theme Park Is AMAZING! | Vlog 

SDC has been my home park all my life. The first time I went, I was 3 years old. I know everything there is to know about this park, without being an employee. I might even know more than most employees. In the past, we even knew the names of some of the employees. Now, most of them have retired or changed jobs, and have been replaced by new, young kids. We went every weekend, when I was younger. Now, not so much. I still keep myself up-to-date on everything that is happening. I know rumors, what will be demolished over the next 4 years, and what will be built over the next 4 years. Starting off on your video, it looks like you parked in Lot 2, based on where you started walking in the video. Why didn't you ride the FREE tram from Stop 2, which is in Lot 2? That would have saved you a 1/4 mile walk. For this park, you NEED all the energy you can get for walking!!! I hate Outlaw Run. To me, currently, the biggest rides are PowderKeg, Time Traveler, Mystic River Falls, and Firefall. PowderKeg still gets a line at chain drop and can still get a long line FAST, just like it did when it opened. Time Traveler can get the longest line of any coaster and rarely ever has no line. Mystic River Falls is still the newest ride, which is why it gets the longest line of all rides. I still love Firefall and always will because of the memories from Celebration City. The entrance is a bottle neck. It isn't so bad before chain drop, but it is HORRIBLE during An Old Time Christmas! I hate that bottle neck! It needs to be redone ASAP and I know they are planning on redoing it soon! Good idea to mention: It looks like you went on a weekday, which is usually a slow day. Outlaw run looked like it was only running one train. The Giant Barn Swing was only running 1 arm. PowderKeg was running 2, possibly 1 train (they rarely ever run 1 train because of how long a full cycle takes). PowderKeg has 3 trains, total. Wildfire seemed to be running 1 train, but you had very little footage of it to go off of. For me, Wildfire has the most interesting theming and backstory. Plus, it has the first and only Single Rider Line in the entire park! The story is that an inventor by the name of Doc Harris (As in Doctor Harris. I don't remember the rest of his name) invented a flying ship in the past and has now invented a new roller coaster contraption that he calls Wildfire and it runs on a different type of fuel, which he also invented. The station is his warehouse, the blueprints can be seen, on the wall of what is now the Single Rider Line, the contraption that holds the Wildfire Fuel is what you just walked past, and his interactive office can be seen from what is now the first overflow line or "switchbacks", which is on the main floor. The EXTREMELY LONG, 2 hour+ overflow line goes upstairs, and over the Inventor's Warehouse (gift shop). You can see it from the main floor of the gift shop. Doc Harris's office features many different parts including thunder, lightning, and a door that swings open and closes, along with other things. Unfortunately, it is not always turned on or working. The tanks overhead in the station are suppose to spray a watery mist and shine colored lights on hot days, but they have not worked in years. Hard to tell if Time Traveler was running 1 or 2 trains. Time Traveler is programmed to rotate about 2 1/2 times for the entire ride. It is less of a spin and more of a slow turn because weight is not a factor on this model. This is because they understood that most people hate anything that spins. D$&? it!!! They were running engine #76 for the Frisco Silver Dollar Line. I really wish they would have been running engine #504. I really wanted you to see it in action! It is the best engine they have ever had, the most beautiful, and everyone's favorite! They only run 1 train, unless it is VERY busy (as in Memorial Day weekend or Labor Day weekend) and they always run both trains for at least 2 hours everyday during An Old Time Christmas. They have giant dryer rooms next to Mystic River Falls and Tom & Huck's Riverblast that cost $3 to $5. If you want to dry off for free, ride Wildfire in the front row. You will dry off extremely quickly! That amphitheater is Echo Hollow. It features the nightly show during the summer and concerts too. Awww.... You just walked past the Warden in the line for the Flooded Mine. The Warden is the talking picture. It's okay. I'm used to it at this point, because every new guest seems to walk past it like it is nothing. 2 other must do attractions in SDC that you didn't mention are Grandfather's Mansion and the Swinging Bridge. Can't wait to see your next video! Also, I wish this video was longer so I could see more of your reactions to everything and see everything you filmed.

Yeee haaa, caught myself a racoon. Nice park. Reminds me of the old American adventure. Plenty of food choice for stacy. That kettle chips looked unreal. Rides look good and you fell lucky with the queues. Shame no pov's. 🤠👍

About to go back in June since I was 15, I’m 21 now. Very excited.

My home park! Only 2 hours away from me. I'm a little bit obsessed with the rides here. 😆 They're all a blast! Although admittedly, I haven't been on Outlaw Run yet...

Good vlog

Most of the high thrill rides have Test Seats at the entrance. Some don't because they are adjustable. I saw the Test Chair for Outlaw Run in the video, but you didn't point it out. They have to do this so guests know if they will fit, instead of doing "the walk of shame" off the ride. Most parks recommend thier guests be under 250 pounds, possibly under 200 pounds, to ride all the rides in the park. Most people over 250 can't fit on most rides because the restraint system won't go down far enough to lock. B&M is the first and only ride company to make oversize seats. B&M offered SDC the chance to have them when they built Wildfire. Fortunately, SDC said yes. Wildfire has 4 oversize seats on both trains. They are on rows 3, 4, 6, & 7, and they have 2 seatbelts on each, which are orange. These oversize seats can accomodate people up to 300 pounds. Outlaw Run had to get the seatbelts shortened on both trains about 2 years ago. I believe RMC ordered them to do this, as well as all other coasters they made in the past, and will keep them like that on future coasters too. Anyone over 150 or 200 pounds now has a very difficult time fitting on Outlaw Run. This makes Outlaw Run the hardest ride to get on in SDC. Everyone hates the shin guards. They hurt the shins of anyone over 6 foot, basically restricting them from riding too.
