Any Swordsman build with Peltasta + AoE DPS should be able to efficiently farm any of these maps. If you don't have a Swordsman, then consider partying up with one!
i have explored those maps when papaya server opened and they still drop these items, in fact when i used to farm dilgele for my potions old equipment drop so i got money selling bandits pants and these common weapons silver (i use to farm like 1100 dilgeles per day and that net me something around 400-500k silver) which i used to buy alchemist ingredients. when i tried to do all the quests in the game to see if that "level up" my journal i went first to that side of the map and in fact they drop these. so a good strategy to get easy silver its drop these equipment and sell to the NPC as you said. it just happen those maps are abandoned because it dont have any impact on player interest (even when the servers were alive in papaya). but any 210-250 of the old maps drop equipment just find a good map spot for your class and let the massacre start. you can also get a good idea where to drop if you give a look to old map collections and look for the collections that have "common" grade equipment because those drops easily.

@@OMCreateable I was checking the loot table. I also noticed that these items are tie to map collections. If they removed it, then it also affect the collection too.
field farming meta will never be back because you need to do the raids to get the materials to upgrade your equipment and then exchange it for an upper tier version to repeat the process. Field farming in ToS will never be viable, it will just be a thing to do when you've run out of raid entries/event stuffs to grind out the things you cannot get from the market (for example trying to get a decent random stat skill gem you could use or the perfect ichor with the right random stats and goddess blessing)

I actually secretly playing other games while grinding on ToS xD Diablo 4, Lost Epoch, Maplestory, and Diablo 2 Resurrected. It's unfortunate that ToS isn't a main stream, but i still have love for it!
this is no silver-farming, it's item-farming just like it always was possible on low-level maps, it just didn't drop mercenary badges. Anyway, ToS is already past redemption, the game cannot be saved anymore since it focused too much on throwing out half-baked content with more grinding of new raids to throw materials against an upgrading RNG, just to farm more for additional content entry tickets to have another shot at upgrading your basic equipment. I'm happy I played in the beginning when the game was actually good and stopped before it went into full cashgrab & recycle mode.
Peltasta-Rod-Murmillo is pretty good right now. If you need more speeds, i would go for Cataphract-Barbarian-Pelt with mount + aggro combos Another option is Cataphract + Hakk - Pelt. Channeling build

@@kwakawa Oh, you need to be top #1 for weekly boss raid in your class category. This way, you can get the title! This should be easy. Not many players play cannoneer right now.
Bots exist in all mmorpgs, ALL. Doesn't matter at all. Lost Ark, Throne and Liberty, New World, .....whatever free game you play has bots, if they don't affect you who cares. The economy? it might impact the economy but is not as bad as removing currency and farming from the game. Also bots exist in the game even without this, today bots can solo dungeons and almost entirely play the game.
@mpanic by giving meaningless updates to the whales who still play. the game died so many times already so they reduced the number of servers to just 4 (NA,SA,EU and Asia) with EU and SA being braindead since long ago and they still cannot make a shared market so the people on the low population servers can at least sell/buy stuff and don't have to farm everything for themselves. The RNG-rates are clearly aimed at playerbases of at least 3000+ active players per server to supply the resources that both new, advanced and endgame players need to progress smoothly through the game, and all 4 servers on steam have about 1000 active players left when summed up together, with some below a hundred and others at 400+ players.
