I like your black and white wall sound bars

I’m sure Eddie Van Halen would approve.

I've always thought that one of the massive advantages of not having a larger room is that your screen can stretch from wall to wall, the psychovisual benefits of which are very significant. By way of example, I would prefer to have a ten foot wide screen in a ten foot wide room than an eleven foot wide screen in twelve foot wide room. Another part of your set-up that I love is how low the screen is: The majority of people seem to mount their screens too high (for my tastes anyway).

Hey Chris, Mahmood here from the Tech Haven. I got the same screen (same exact dimensions at least) and have been using it for 3 years now, loving it! I got the same minor issue like you said (the wrinkles). However, once the movie is on, you won't even notice it exists. Enjoy!

I’m still using my DIY spandex screen. I thought it would be a temporary solution, but almost 3 years later, I still don’t feel the need to spend a bunch of money to change it. I only have about $250 into my screen. It’s 150” 16:9. I have it a few feet off the wall to make room for my little SVS pb1000 subs and Emotiva C3+.

That dedicated movie room with that screen and your walls/panels and the cool polygonal panels above the screen, is awesome! Kudos! I recently finished a movie room, using a painted white wall for now, but really really considering getting one of these screens (probably standard bezel though) You are also a very patient person for not immediately reaching out to the manufacturer, because that mark would drive me nuts.

Thanks man. I’ve changed a lot of stuff in the room. Check out my room tour video. It does bother me but when I’m watching a movie I never see it.

I think the professional reviewers have an agreement with the studios to show clips (mostly from trailers I think) 🤷‍♂️

I have a Stewart Firehawk G3 and it’s a very different attachment system. It uses snap buttons to attach the screen to the frame. I had zero wrinkles with it, but it was tight and difficult to snap them.

I have a whole bag of those clips and springs. I bought them when I was building mine (thought I'd need them) but I ended up using a different method since I built my frame from scratch. Happy to throw them in the mail if you can make use of them

If you show clips of films, all you get is a copyright on that video, but it's not a strike, but if you monetize your channel its just means you won't get any monetization on that video.

Oh dude... you really need to add some adamantium fabric on the side walls to eliminate those strong light reflexions. that would make the immersion perfect. your wallpainting is way too reflective
