Shin 666 that’s because in higher elos you would expect someone to be better but in silver if someone knows how to string or dodge they’re one of the better players in their elo
i love boomie so much, he always tries to see the best in people’s play styles and gives the most positive criticism even if they’re low skilled/levelled
13:00 Brawhalla should add a lock on ranked mode for new players and when they reach lvl 20 or so they unlock ranked. This way they won’t get destroyed in ranked.
14:53 so true. Extremely true. Especially for me. I'm high gold but don't play ranked that much(bc it's broken and needs to be fixed) and I'm actually good. When I see the gold's u play against i fell like either they don't deserve to be in gold, so they go to silver, or I'm too good for gold, and should be in plat. I think the only thing that keeps me away from plat is m spacing and predicting my enemie's next attack/movement. What I mean is that it's easy to read where they will go after I hit a string starter like scythe nlight (like dogeing down/spot doge/down to me=another nlight, dogeing up=jump gc nlight/slight, and the list goes on) but if they are spaced, what will they do? Dash attack? Jump attack? Bait? Idk
Personal character suggestions: 1. Nai (because I'd like to see more pro players use her, similar to Hermisen, despite her stats) 2. Roland (It'd be cool to see Boomie pop off on lance, plus I like his sword) 3. Diana (I miss Boomie's Diana and I'd love to get better at her) 4. Nix (I'm a Nix main and I love Nix. Holy moly when I was in gold climbing to plat I literally had to play against players like the last Ada like every two matches. It was not a pleasant journey and I even quit the game twice because of raging too much.
yo boomie i got the game about 2 weeks ago and i'm 1450 elo. is this to be expected? or do you think i am ahead of the population. i keep climbing while i play. haven't really lost much elo
16:25 I feel the hardest weopen to play for me is Lance, the dair doesn't have any vertical movement or attack, and gp has too much n lag, unlike the sword, spear, and scythe. Scythe doesn't have direct down attack in dair but gp makes up for it
I do believe an unranked 1v1 or casual 1v1 system would fix it. Or atleast make expermintal more obvious or clear. When I started I didn't know what it was so I never played it.
Probably a stupid question but how do you guys do your nair what's your method? For example I hold W because I have issues getting them down while moving a lot.

What do you think about the fact that you cant change the colours in a 2v2 costom game for so long. It cant be so difficult to implement that in this game and it annoys me!
I think that BMG should add more to the Tutorial of the game... like add about 3 sections in the tutorial: 1st for the basics of the game. 2nd for the basic combos of the game and 3rd for the movement in the game... i also think they should add tips before matches start and add tips for each legend (pro player tips would be recommended)... when i first started I barely had any idea what to do and what i CAN do. It took me a few days to learn dash jump, gravity cancels, ex-pivots, etc.
IMO the fastest way to improve on this game is to just play and evolve your instincts, saying stuff doesn’t help at All, since putting it into practice only makes it more confusing and complex. KWIM?
Tip: After Losing a game give a general tip, 2 weapon tips, and give the community a thumbs up or down response? (Tips should maybe be made by Devs and the competitive community?)
Maybe they could implement a system like apex has, where you have to hit a certain level before you can play ranked or a certain number of wins. They could also add in a "handbook" or something that show combos and strings and how to make them true (if they are)

On the topic of SDs in gold. There isn't too much from mid to high gold 1500-1600 elo (I think). I do occasionally playing on the walls with hammer and scythe trying to gimp my opponent (1524 elo ATM)
3:35 nah bro im 100% confident he just spammed light attack it just so happens hes playing blasters and he hit sair before he landed and he didn't know what to do but to press light attack again while moving and happens to throw out a slight which is a string on blasters. nice interpretation though
I don't play a lot of ranked because I lose when it lags and people start teleporting. It's like, that guy wasn't even there. Or there's the move I tried two seconds ago. I have more fun on two's. The only friendly 1v1 is strikeout. Which is fun, but not the same.
Character suggestion : Artemis Also, how do you know which attack is picked first because i often attack someone and before it lands he makes a move and hit me instead of me hitting him (i'm not sure if i made myself clear).
