⭐️ Yes, I made this video for absolutely free, just for passion for F1. Anyway if you would like to support the work I do on this, I have a Patreon, thank you: www.patreon.com/floz All you need to know about Silver vs Red F1: blog.danifloz.com/silver-vs-red-f1-sebastian-vettel-vs-lewis-hamilton/ Finally Silver v Red - Clash of Champions was released! I made this documentary thanks to all of you because last year, after post The Silver War documentary, the supported and good words that I received was huge. I don't know if next year I'll can make another documentary so I hope you enjoy this one because I put all my effort into make the best Formula 1 documentary possible. Please, If you are a Vettel or Hamilton fan be respectful with the other fans because we are here for enjoy our passion, which is Formula 1. Enjoy the documentary and share it around the world!
I can't express how good these videos are. I get goosebumps and sit on the edge of my seat at dramatic moments even though I already know the results Since I don't get the interview coverage in the states as much, the interviews make it all that much better. Thank you for putting these professional level films out for free and for putting this out during the F1 drought that is winter!!
Well Floz. I thought that the Hamilton v Rosberg was incredibly. Well you overdid yourself. This one looks actually in most parts like an absolute professional TV documentary. Hands down the best Formula 1 related editor on RU-vid. As a technical question I would like to ask you as a fellow editor, what kind of software do you use for editing these amazing videos? All the best mate :D Cheers
@@blacklotus5364 they both did. Massa was one corner away from winning it and in 2017 lost the championship cause the ferrari engine was unreliable. U can see from this video
This is what RU-vid is supposed to be, aspiring content creators finding the right platform to distribute their amazing ideas and projects. Great work man!
@@ChefofWar33 Agree tbh, the best season in terms of rivalry since 2012 or so, was in 2016 when Rosberg and Hamilton fought to the final race. This season with Verstappen and Hamilton is looking pretty decent too but we will see how the season unfolds. Generally, although Mercedes have done a great job, F1 cannot allow a team to dominate for 8 years straight again, as it’s boring and has been the worst era of F1 ever. With the new regulations in 2022, hopefully there will be more rivalries and closer racing.
@@qg1235 Yes true it can be boring at times but superior teams should not be hindered due to their success. When it comes to teams like Haas... someone has to be at the bottom of the rankings and someone has to be at the top.
@@gigsawsoljier1408 I would say in the beginning of the season the Ferrari was a bit faster than merc, but it turned around strongly in the second half of the season.
Sebastion Vettel is a class act. Every time in interviews he turned the attention to Hamilton and the credit he deserved. These two drivers are the class acts in the field. I just hope Vettel's new ride in Aston Martin allows him to compete at the top again. Can't wait for Sunday mornings from March onward.
I just love watching the end of 2010 season when Lewis is the first to hug seb after his first title and last year when seb is the first to congratulate Lewis after his 7th title
Aston Martin might be a dark horse when the regs change, love Seb but I'm not convinced that the Strolls need to be in F1. Hope he gets a ride that he can compete with though, deserves it.
It is insane just how good these guys are. At 1:10:35 you can see Hamilton adjusting car settings like someone would play a piano while going 90 mph in a corner in the middle of the pack with a flat tyre, its pure madness.
In my opinion this is the greatest documentary you have ever made next to the Silver War series. Incredible editing work, not too overly dramatic like DTS but just how it should be: informative, thrilling, consistent and able to show the right footage that came with the different races. Unfortunately since the end of the 2021 season, these past years haven't been anywhere near documentary worthy but I do hope to see the 2021 season documentary at one point.
Thank you so much for your words about my work on SvR 2017! I have great news for you. In 2022 I published the documentary about the F1 2021 season. In this video I explain how you can watch it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IYIOlaHRDmQ.html ...
That moment when Senna family gives his helmet to Lewis is really beautiful. You edited that really well. Still have to watch the rest of the video tho. But anyway so far so good Im impressed as always! Good job Floz!
Zigo Edits yeah it was emotional but I also see tears in Lewis's eyes when Ross brown said about braking Schumachers record wish they did another tribute in this video like the Senna one. Either way this is as good as it gets.
This might well be the finest documentary I have seen on RU-vid. The hours you had to spend gathering, selecting, and editing video must be beyond calculation. Thank you for the generous donation of your time and skill.
Floz, this is another masterpiece. I have no idea how you are able to make documentaries better than professionals, but it's a shame that you don't have very many subscribers. I'll be with you till the end!
"It's not about me, it's not about us, it's about Lewis today. It's his day. He won the championship, he deserves it." - Sebastian Vettel (RESPECT) TEAM L.H FTW Get the 5th this year!! Also, thank you FLoz. I realized half way through, there's no ads. I'd pay for it just so you know. You did this for us all. Big thanks!
Love how the story is told in the cuts. No narration, yet you never lose track of the story overall. HEY FIA!! FORMULA ONE!!! HIRE THIS GUY!!!! PLEASE!!!! GREAT WORK!!!
He's talking about waiting since the beginning of the race season. A year from start to finish. Now race season has started again I'll have been waiting from January 2018 till possibly late December 2018 or January 2019 to see another champion video and I have a feeling this season is going to be tight again and therefore suspect there's going to be another documentary.
If somebody in F1 or sport media doesn't try to hire you for editing and making movies like this, they are truly missing out. Battle of the Arrows is what got me into watching F1. Well done/bravo!!
Me too. Well done FloZ. You deserve more. You should be up there getting medals with these formula 1 gladiators. Goodness your really good at editing!!!!!
@@SuperIceman44 They have had 4 possible championship winning seasons since then and they screwed up each one. They have had many laughable seasons as well full with errors and reliability issues
Great work man! Outstanding storytelling. I know your Silver War video was taken down due to copyright. Is there a way to watch it now? I didn't get the chance to watch it in full :(
How have I just come across this masterpiece! Loved the inclusion of Lewis giving Valterri his place back in the middle of a championship fight. And people say he had no class with Bottas!
Vettel so unlucky he deserved 2017 to fulfill his dream in red. He made no mistakes in that season and drove faster than his car was because it fitted to him. So sad to see him ending in red like this ...
He could have won at Baku if he didn't act immaturely. But there was nothing else he could do. Singapore was bad luck and bad reliability cost him most.
Just watched this again for the 2nd or 3rd time. Honestly, the quality of FLoz' work is on par with any Hollywood studio. This was an absolute 10/10 for me. Thank you so much FLoz!
That's the most well-deserved 1 hours and 18 minutes that I have spent in my entire life. Thanks for all who contributes to this. I watched it without even taking a breath.
From taking the lead in the Championship in Italy, by 3 points, to then being 59 points clear three races later... Robbed us of a climactic end to this wonderful season, that did. Still, it was a great battle. Lewis deserved it. This video is absolute quality too, btw.
Was waiting for this since The Silver War. Thank you!! This is brilliant. Funny how awesome RU-vid videos can be made with virtually no original content, but hours of sheer hard work and patience.
I remember in my head thinking the 2017 championship wasn't even close and Vettel and Hamilton barely battled and that no matter what Hamilton was always going to be World champion again, now watching this has completely refreshed my memory, I forgot these two battled nearly every damn race and I forgot that had Vettel not crashed in Singapore in my opinion he definately would've finished ahead of Hamilton in that race and the championship lead was going to be back in Vettels hands, badluck in Malaysia which caught him out and same again in Japan, we could've seen a closer finale, but I think after singapore it took a toll Vettels confidence
He used to make the difference in Asian races in his Red Bull days. Too bad that 17 season, he had all those misfortune in 3 races in a row. Would have been an amazing season final otherwise and we would remember it as one of the greatest title battles of all time.
Its not your fault, mate. Close battles with Hamilton are not part of the agenda because everyone wants to think he has it easy so its to forget what happens in a season.
@@wesleygama968nah Lewis didn’t really have any competition in 2017 / 2018. He had a far superior car and was just coasting to easy wins. You can see Bottas a mediocre driver challenging Vettel nearly every race while a WDC like Kimi is fighting the Redbulls.
Put it this way This video is the best thing I've ever seen on RU-vid it's a total masterpiece, I've watched the silver war countless times and now I have something to watch for the next year !
Honestly these are some of if not the best videos on the rivalries that have gone on in modern f1 between Ferrari and Mercedes. And when it was the silver war as it were. Never get bored of watching these videos
alonso beat the legendary schumacher 2 times, i dont know why you are questioning alonso's skill. he has proven to be amongst the best. youre just a filthy hater @hugo
Worldclass edition! As a brazilian, obviously you get excited at 25:41 when LH receives a "gift" from the Senna family, but the whole edited season/battle is absolutely awesome! Great job & keep it up with this videos!!
Liberty Media SERIOUSLY need to get this guy on board. He's a prodigy. And this is exactly what is missing, proper modern F1 Documentaries. Thank you so much! From Australia.
The Problem with this Video is that it's Simply Too Good to Watch In-between During Work... - you have to Sit Down with a Cold Beer & Relax whilst Enjoying this Spectacle. You are the Man, Floz.
Wow watching this again in 2021 and still get goosebumps. I think the new F1 fan should watch this and other documentaries to better understand formula 1 - cause the comments we now see on social media are all fuelled by hate towards a particular driver without understanding the sports itself
As I am someone who supported f1 from the beginning of my life. I remember raikkonen before his title, I remember there being a yellow and blue renault driving at the front. I grew up watching drivers like Alonso, Hamilton, Vettel, Raikkonen Schumi in a ferrari I don't recall that much despite that I was a fan of his. But to this day even after witnessing 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2016 and 2021, 2017 felt like the most serious, professional and best F1 season in my mind. It was the early stages of F1 on social media, I felt like less toxicity. So Social media was just another facet to be more involved in this Hamilton Vettel battle. Add to that how legendary these 2 drivers felt to me at the time this season was the best I ever witnessed in terms of personal involvement and excitement. Also respect and pure sportsmanship. It was something different as it was also the pre drive to survive days, great times...
@@jonnywalker4802 by your logic then, Vettel doesn't deserve any of his four titles as he only won them in the best car. If you're only going to hate someone because of their achievements, maybe you should switch sports. Motorsport is not about hating someone because of them being in terrific form. On the subject of Vettel, for the record, I don't hate him, but he does have moments where I lose respect for him (Malaysia 2013 for example, where he apologised to Webber for disobeying the team and putting himself above the team, only before the next Grand Prix in China he did a complete about face, claiming that not only did Webber not deserve to win but that in the same situation he would do it again)
When you consider how petulant Vettel could be in his formative/early years, he shows nothing buy absolute class in this 2017 battle. Great review of a great year, between two greats.
Watching this after almost 3 years, I truly appreciate Racing Points for giving their car to Seb. Both occations (Lewis's WC moment and Bottas's first win) Seb telling it's not about us, this is their (Lewi, Bottas) days. Respect Seb.👏
I just wanna say to the creator of this that I absolutely adore you. As a lewis fan watching these videos after Abu Dhabi has been like therapy to me. All though I might not watch your verstappen v lewis 2021 video because I don’t want to go in to a new depression, i just wanna say keep up the great work! This is amazing!
Liberty media NEEDS to hire you. Seriously incredible mate, honestly the best f1 inspired video I've ever seen on this website, you should be really proud of this. This is art. Thank you for this ☺️
What can I say about your editing skills? You my friend are up there with some of the best in F1 programming. I’m binging on all your content, keep being brilliant!
Watching this for the first time 5 years later and i have to say my respect for Sebastian Vettel increased so much! His character and humbleness was on a different level. And i think people forget this guy won 4 championships IN A ROW! Like come on
This is one of the greatest videos you can find on RU-vid So much hard work has gone into this and you can see it from the result, this is a great summary and recap for the 2017 season.
I absolutely loved this! Like I said in my reply to your comment this was such a fantastic job worthy of best professional film editors in Hollywood. As a professional filmmaker myself (25 years in the movie business) permit me to make a few suggestions. I know the focus was on the tittle battle between Lewis and Sea but you could've constructively added a few outside incidents into the film and deterred from the narrative too much for instance the the final sprint between Bottas and Stroll in Baku and the controversial overtake in Texas by Max on Kimi and then seeing Max loose his 3rd place. Putting these small incidents in would have given a fuller picture of the season and made the Lewis Vettel battle seem a bit bigger when we are witness to the other drivers. Just a a thought on enlarging the narrative a bit. Still an absolutely wonderful job! Thank you for putting in the enormous effort.
Alex Lamas Woow! Is an honour for me to receive good feedback from film-maker professionals like you. Good idea to add other incidents or moments in some races as you said. The reason because I didn't was the theme of the documentary. People are waiting to watch what happens with the protagonist drivers. For people who are not close to F1 could be a little bit confusing, and for F1 fans is unnecessary because they know what happened with the rest of the drivers. Anyway I'm agree with you and probably the result would be better so It's a good idea for next videos :) Thank you very much Alex.
Absolutely amazing as always! Hope you keep it up. This should have a million views. Do great work, and great opportunities will follow. Wish you nothing but the best. :)
This video has a special place in my heart. It is the final season my dad and I were able to watch and discuss together. He passed away unfortunately. Your video brings up many memories... You have produced a very powerful video, this is your calling.
`Sorry to hear about your Dad Jraybay - my condolences to you and your family. I always look out for your comments on youtube ... so I feel like I know you.
This season was one of the best formula one season in a while. Hamilton vs vettle, silver vs red. Two best drivers in the two best cars and brands. It just worked perfectly for Motorsport. Now for this year I want mclaren and red bull to join the fight. The we are back to amazing F1 every week we will see just crazy racing.. I can't wait..
Your documentaries continue to take my breath away...no one is better at this than you are! You always manage to capture in film what we Formula One fans feel deep down inside...you have given us another masterpiece and I thank you for your generosity...and I salute your genius :):)
Knowing liberty media's massive effort on highlighting F1 in all the possible ways online I wouldn't be surprised if somebody approaches you with a proposal for co-operation in the future. Grande Lavore.
About to sit back and watch this from TV! I rearly like videos but this i liked even before i watched because any video THIS guy makes is stunner! Your most underrated youtuber i hope you the best in future and hopefully you'll stick around to share your talent of producing amazing Videos!
When they gave him Senna's helmet I almost broke down and sobbed like a little boy. What a tribute and what an invaluable prize does he still wear that helmet today for races
