Really appreciate your time and efforts putting up these videos. I recently bought a truck and I have been trying to figure out why I was getting engine codes 1133 and 1153. I changed out all of the 02 sensors and still got the same codes after a day or so. I wanted to check all of my wiring just to make sure that wasn’t the reasons and as I checked all of that I went ahead and opened up the fuse box. After studying the diagram on the box I noticed that I had no Fuel Pump Relay and also no Fuel Pump Fuse. The truck runs fine without that fuse and relay but is it the reason I’m getting those codes?
What if the fuel pump ddint have any fuse or relay? I’m having sputtery cold morning starts in 12 Silverado and just noticed that on my fuse box any idea’s because I’m completely thrown for a spin on that ????
Question for you, I have an 07 Silverado 4.3L, at Radom times the engine will not wanna start at all, I have power and everything. But after waiting 30-45 minutes eventually you will hear the fuel pump finally prime to start. Relays seem good but will replace with new ones. Any idea why it’s doing that all of a sudden?
2012 Chevy Silverado 6cylinder 4.3 sometimes turn on egnition switch and fells too start turn over makes a certain sound keep trying and then turns over , * used a scanner And got p1 1682 $7E8 GM Driver 5 line 2 / *** looked up code and said egnition switch /= and some other things / * ,going too check fuses , /= " before I , buy egnition switch /= **** any input would help thanks
The relay pins are numbered and according to the diagram the number 87 pin on relay, for fuel pump, must be in the lower left corner, ?? all relays pins are numbered.
I have no power on the fuel pump fuse. on a 2008 lmm duramax 6.6 liter diesel. Swapping the fuse did not help. The fuse is good, but there is no power.
Having issues with my fuel pump relay.. every time I shut the truck off I have to mess with the relay to get the pump to kick on again.. what's happening?
I performed some tests, but forgot recording the position of the Relays (4 pin) . Does any one knows which way they go? Some say either position is good, but I wonder how you can flip them and still work.
4 pin relays that have identical-sized pins can be installed in either direction. The pins form a circuit diagonally which makes the relay installation bidirectional
@@LehewTech Thank You! So that is the reason why they can be used in both positions. I was confused, digging in a lot of info sources, but couldn´t find any explanation on why and nervous about restarting the system and blowing everything. You helped me so much!
I have a 2009 Silverado I was pulling it out the garage and it died on me and never crank on again all light and power windows work check battery and starter are working it just won’t turn over if anybody can help Will appreciate it. Thk
