I don't often do MOV releases because they're a little pricey for my budget, but I ordered Diorama as soon as it was announced and will do the same for Young Modern - Didn't have the funds for the earlier ones at the time, but since those two are my favorite albums - Diorama is their best album overall IMHO, and "Across The Night" is a masterpiece, very reminiscent of late 60s Beatles - I'll splurge for them. Daniel Johns' debut solo album last year is fantastic, if you haven't heard it or picked it up yet, it's worth it. Cheers!
Music On Vinyl is amazing. I go out of my way to buy their albums that I'm interested and it's worth it for the extra cost. If there is any negative, it's if you don't get a release shortly thereafter, prices get astronomical online.
i genuinely love these releases, and i can say i'm a happy owner of a green Freakshow record and a warm-yellow Tomorrow EP vinyl! As a chair fan, i find it sad that MOV skipped over Diorama EPs (as there are rare EPs of The Greatest View and i'm not sure about the next one but Ramble and Asylum could have easily been released in reissues just the same) and Young Modern!!! It's actually a shame they left out Young Modern imo!
I have a bunch of MOV releases. I've been a fan of theirs for a while because they reissue a lot of titles in the late 80s through the 2000s. I've gotten a couple of the Movies on Vinyl too. One im looking for is the Grave Dancers Union - Soul Asylum. I also want the Warrenton titles too.
