Lavazza rosso works very well and Illy red is my favourite one but it s quite pricy. Lately I bought myself a grounder, thinking that fresh ground coffee would make a difference but not really...
The manual isn't very good.like if u want to make another cup ie 2 cups one after the other do u need to remove the sieve holder and refill with coffee powder or can u use same powder more than once??
I think it depends, if there is a holder especially for two cups (in which you can put more coffee powder) then you have to use that one in one go and put in more coffee powder. If there is just one holder for a single cup of coffee, you have to refill it, otherwise your coffee will be tasteless and watery
Everything depends of how strong u like ur coffee, try...taste and c for yourself...perso...I take 4 espressos every morning, so 1 double full to start, I refill it a and make another double , I have another product silvercrest but the barista works the same but manually...I can stop the water when I want ! And I only use mineral too lazy to think of cleaning the machine !
Maybe the problem is the same I had and resolved. In the back of the milk lid there should be a piece of plastic that turns to lock the milk valve, on this piece of plastic there should be a rubber nozzle that is about the same size, if yours doesn’t have a rubber nozzle on the end, the nozzle might be stuck in the back of the milk lid, that’s where mine was and there was steam going everywhere, I took the rubber piece out with a screwdriver and reattached that rubber nozzle to the plastic and the milk frothed worked again and I enjoyed that I solved the problem 🙂
Oh boy, this is pressurized basket, what do you expect from this cheap ass machine? It is still better for people (who dont have any knowledge about espresso) to see this "rich fake crema on top" than to not have it, right? Because a normal guy without good grinder and with normal baskets will not be able to achieve great crema on their espresso :)
To be honest coffee machines are like mobiles or cars they do what their supposed to with varying ease. The shot all depends on the bean and grind the machine just apply's the pressure 12-15 bar. Fresh beans and the correct grind consistently for each machine reguardless of cost is key.
Yeah but basket does a lot too. You can have a 25sec shot on a pressurized one with fake crema (from metal micro webs inside of the basket) and it might taste bitter. I was experimenting on pressurized and its really hard to change anything about it. For coffee with milk its fine af
I see that this express is useless. Small coffee, many washing parts and poor quality. However, I prefer coffee with Dolce Gusto - because I do not have to wash anything and coffee is fast, milk is in a capsule and I do not have to exchange it. The amount of coffee and drinks is really big. Ekspress Dolce Gusto is cheaper... However, it's good that I didn't buy SilverCrest.
I think you can't compare a real espresso machine to a dolce gusto. Dolce gusto is just for convenience coffee, a real espresso machine is craftwork (expect for the milk reservoir the silvercrest uses haha)
