I soldered out the leds from it, it serves no purpose hopefully that will prolong the battery life significantly, since they are on. I can recommend to do it. 10 min, and easy.
Yes I had that problem, the batteries kept running down. Got the lights to turn off, don't know how, afraid to touch it. All good now except I am answering next doors bell still. Lol
@@3d3rick I had the older version of this, and on that model (and probably on this as well), you cannot erase a paired transmitter from the indoor unit! To further add insult to injury, the indoor device goes into pairing mode for 2 minutes after battery replacement (which has to be done every few months). So if in that 2 minutes period someone in the neighbourhood presses the button of a similar device (doesnt have to be from Lidl, it can even be a 433 MHz motion sensor) then it's done for good, you have a paperweight... Useless crap, unless you live far away from anybody, and don't have other 433 MHz transmitters
I cant get any sound, the only sound it makes is when i click the volume button. I read the manual and i tried to set it up with the M button and then check it with the ring tones button and still nothing. Do you know/ guess what im doing wrong? Thx
Bought one on 2nd September 2020, fitted with 2 x AA Energiser Ultimate Lithium batteries. Now 12th September and both batteries totally dead. Total rubbish.
I fixed the problem of the flashing lights draining the batteries, by opening the case and crushing the tiny led lights with some point nosed pliers. It works ok now but obviously I don't get the lights signaling when the door bell is pushed, only the sound.
Nice videos but can you not through things that you unbox around in this way it’s so .... can’t find the words and don’t want to say anything that can sound mean
@@TechGuruAndrew I can only tell my personal experiences. Perhaps mine is faulty, but as I read several opinions about, they have the same problems. As soon I see another bell on the market, I throw away this one.
@@nikolapopovic1651 There is option to turn off light, pressing M button. When you press once there is melody and flashing, second time only flashing without melody, and third time only melody without light. BUT!!: You probably have same issue as me. First batteries lasted couple of months (i have selected mode without LED flashing), second set of batteries lasted 2 weeks, then i have noticed that LED is working 24/7, i tried to turn it off, but apparently some electronics is faulty now. LED should work only when button is pressed, even when mode with LED light mode is selected. If you select mode without LED flashing, it should stay OFF all the time. But mine was working fine for couple of months and now something is inverted, and LED works Always, and that is what is draining battery. I don't need LED, so i have removed them, so i will see now how long batteries will last...
