I just ordered one in classic green field with black and white points. I am planning on getting a set of red and yellow checkers for my Silverman & Company Backgammon set.
I have ordered a 13 inch Premium Backgammon Set from Silverman and Co is a Green field one with White and Black points and checkers! With Silverman and Co they only have white and black checkers and i like it to match the points. If their desert Brown set had Brown checkers instead of Black...it would be a top seller i guess!
@@sibikoshy7959 I understand that. It was a toss up between the one I got and the one with a grey field with blue and red points. I decided to get the classic green field with black and white points. I am planning on getting different colors of checkers. I prefer contrast instead of matching. Until then I will use what it comes with.
@@saved03 Thats an interesting idea! Should make it fun to play! In this case where would you order checkers from and what abt it fitting the board you have?
I got the same exact Silverman set a couple of yeas ago. The only issue I have with it, and it's minor, is the black checkers can be hard to see when they are on the bar because the case is also black. I've been thinking of replacing the black checkers but I haven't been able to find a match in checker size.
Engrossed in this fantastic game I would say! If you get checkers 40mm/4cm in diameter it would be just perfect! I'm sure you will get them...just keep looking around!
